Krista is on her 6 th load of laundry here...I guess her machine just stopped, then the lid lock broke so it will not do any thing now... it is one of the new "no agitator" machines I guess they have had it over 2 years, Wally was alive when they got it...
I have 3 cards made...two from the Sept envie from Amy... I love those leaves in there... I want to try some thing else with the last two... hope ir works
I made a small peach desert, kind of a cross between a pie and a cobbler...I only had one pie crust in the fridge, so I did what I could... I love peach any thing, and I though Krista could take some to grandpa too...If I am nice, I can share with Keith later...
I will have the kids later so Krista can go early, the agency has really messed up the hours Tammy requested, she has been all day plus had to go back last night for a while... after being there all day yesterday and Monday night too
I hope she can find a different agency to get better help ...
Hey Debbie, how are you doing...it was good to see you the other night ...
it was good to see you also... sorry I didn't get to chat... I'm planning on attending homecoming game, not sure on any others....
busy day today..l. went to Galesburg to run errands... church board meeting tonight and I don't have my stuff done for that... so I'd best get it done.
Thanks guys...Donnie says she is really weak... We all know GOD has given us much time and many blessings with Marylou...I just do not want her to suffer, begging to breathe is so sad, not being able to walk on top of that... Plus most days she is in so much pain... just so much wrong with her, there really is not much they can do for any long term help... Each day is a true blessing to her... and to Bill
Some day I want to come and say UPDATE and it be filled with GOOD STUFF...
I think that is why I share so much, even the small things that are full of love and happiness keep me going in a straight pattern, maybe not forward every day but I hang in there...
prayers for MaryLou... I haven't go back to read anything... hoping she isn't in much pain.

Dody, how are you and Bud feeling?? what is next with the house?
Kel, so what did you do for your birthday? I saw your daughter spent her day in bed sick~
Suzy, so did you get any cards made?? I did not get any more done, I tried to pull out a Halloween card, but no luck
Maggie, what is on your agenda tonight? I want to go to bed early, since I need to be at the doctors office at 9:30 in the morning.... just my flu shot
But Keith just called and said he did not know how late he would be in the field...The weather is great for them right now
The kids all ate great ~ I got some of the chicken fries from Schwans~
they love those, I added fruit and crisper french fries ... I am taking them home to get baths and ready for bed, Once the boys are down and asleep I will come home, Ali will be there.
I just try to avoid any squabbles lol so once the boys are asleep I feel safe...
Soni, we are a bit better tonight, thanks. Today was Justin's birthday but I decided not to gift him with these germs, we'll see him this weekend. The coughing is killing me but each day I see improvement besides it's the only way I have been working my abs. Hopefully we will feel good enough to go look at the house tomorrow. Countertops should be in, plumbing, lights. crown molding, carpet & landscaping still to come. Thankfully we added wood blinds for all of the windows so I won't have to worry about that. I thought I would be packing but *cough, cough* not yet....those naps keep sneeking up on me. I gave up on even thinking that the quilt could get done before hand, all in due time.

So sorry you are still coughing and not feeling well... I hope by the weekend you are up to seeing Justin...
Oh each time you list off things, about the house, it is getting closer...
OH wooden blinds sound nice... do you think they will be easy to keep clean?? I bet they will look beautiful ...
And your quilt will be perfect ~ whenever you get it completed...
Soni, my heart aches for you right now. I hate that you felt that you had to come back to retract your first post. Please know that you have a group of friends here who do want to listen to what is on your heart. And those (if any) who don't can skip right over it. My prayers for you now are for peace, comfort and love, so much love wrapped around you like a warm quilt.

Good for you getting all those cards done!!! I need to spend tomorrow night making Elizabeth a card. Her birthday is Friday.
Oh my. I hope things calm down some. That has to be really wearing on Tammy.

I'm sorry you didn't feel up to celebrating with Justin tonight. I hope that the celebration goes well this weekend.
The house is really looking good. You don't have much longer.****excitement****
The quilt will be a great way to break in your new sewing/craft room and new home.

I heard grandpa refused to let 2 different people stay today...both from the agency... and was angry at Tammy...
Krista went in early tonight so Tammy could go home and Krista is saying til noon tomorrow so Tammy and Faith can rest...
yes it is wearing on her, they will have to change some thing, she cannot go on this way... It is so hard to see her try and then be yelled at...or grandpa be so nasty... we understand he is in pain, and frustrated, but there is not much else they can do ... this is what he asked for

Gracious. I know they are doing what he wants, but wow.... that's a lot to ask of them. They have their own families to care for. I'm very sad for them.

yes it is sad...Tammy is there 12 hours a day i not more...She is not getting to see Brooke much at all...Fortunately, Brooke is ok with it, she understands and is so helpful but she is 13 and needs her MOM...
they are waiting and hoping for this program to go into effect, then it will cover the cost of help beyond the medical care and nurses... But if he refuses to let the people stay...then I do not know what they will do...
Well that is not going to work * sigh

Yes, she does need her mom. I hope that they are able to work something out soon. When does the program go into effect?
I have seen you mention this toy twice now... is it some thing brand new out??
It's been out since the spring, I think, but it's the first time I've taken note of it. It's the Silhouette Cameo. It has some very unique abilities. I'm excited about it.

Ah the Silhouette was the first die cut machine I saw...
long ago... I have not followed it tho...it was way to expensive for me, but it was really awesome
It's been crazy busy lately....no time to post before!!!
Maggie....you storage talk sounds interesting....might need more info there!
Got to run....Pie has another lizard.....running now.....
Well, glad to see you're keeping busy.
I did get my talk all finished with a little more tweaking and sent it off to the lady in charge of the presentation, and got an e-mail back that she liked it so it's all ready. I'll send it to those of you who were interested.
I also made up the samples of the 4 cards we are making at our church service project on Saturday. I need to have something for them to see and also wanted to see how long they would take to put together and how difficult they would be. I really thing they will be fine. Didn't really take that long to do them. We're using glue stick too, and I've never used them before on cards so wanted to see how that went also.
That Pie is something else! Were you able to set the lizard free?
Geesh, I was working on a card for the Sept packet and some how I ended up making a card for TPT...lol

OH MY
any way I did get it posted so back to my table
I haven't been able to play with TPT the last couple of weeks. I'll have to see if I have some time tonight.

Ugh, I feel for Krista. I've always hated going to a laundromat. She's so lucky she can just come to your house for that.
I saw a new cobbler recipe on FB. I think it was from When the Dinner Bell Rings page. They have some good recipes. It uses Bisquik mix and no stick of butter.
I sure hope Tammy can get better help than she has. That's terrible that she has to be there all that time when she has her own family to take care of. I know Grandpa is her family, but her children need her to be at home. I thought they had this all worked out before he left the hospital.

That is so terrible the way he is acting. My heart goes out to both of your girls with all they are trying to do and then having to deal with the nastiness from someone who should be grateful and thankful for them and all they are doing for him.
Good morning Quackers. Time to get some breakfast and ready for work.
I'm taking my GF at work out to lunch today for her birthday. I need to go get a card ready. It's all prepared, but I need to write something inside and get an envelope.

well they knew they would be doing a lot of hours there, temporarily, until this program was started
but this agency is really just not as professional as it needs to be...
She needs to make some phone calls to talk to the supervisor or who ever, I am hoping she can do that today She did get the names of a couple of other agencies too, So I hope they can find better help... There is one nurse that stays over night if Tam or Krista cannot...She is great... It is just like most things in life, some individuals are great, some are not
I just hate to see them so frustrated and tired...

It is, but we try to remember that he is in pain, and not happy to be confined in a hospital bed his pride is a hard thing to deal with some times... One day he is praising them, the next not so much

I know it is hard when you have to depend on other people to give care. I remember that from when mom was living here and then in the nursing home. They were okay with her, but some not so good.
