Well, it's only a e-mail type reunion so far. We live a long ways from each other, but I did message her back this morning with some details of my life.

Sorry, I know that is so frustrating for you. I hope it doesn't take you too long to get back to where you were.

Yes, I remember those days with my ex- I was always so nervous having to drive with him when we were married and had gone to a family reunion or some other family function where there would be beer being served. He always ended up having way too much to drink and then we always had a really long drive home.

Well, you'll find it when you get into the new house and have everything all set up the way you want it. You'll have plenty of time to play with your toys.

So I guess he won't be home until the 10th (or whatever that Monday is)
Hehehehe! You would say that.

Yes, the 10th is the Monday after Labor Day. Well, I guess it's good that he's getting the extra time in now when you don't have anything else planned and he'd either have to miss something or say no.

Yes, I'd say the Dutch cabinet would win out, especially if Bob is not there to celebrate with you.

Good morning Quackers.

Yes, I am feeling a bit better this morning. Coughing gunk, which is a good thing. I slept good last night except for Goddess waking me up multiple times with her kneading. That cat! I'd just kind of roll backwards to 'squish' her a little bit so she'd stop and move to the foot of the bed. I wonder if she hears me breathing funny and comes up to wake me up. Hmmm

I've talked to Bob. Then I sat out at the patio table in the breeze and enjoyed my coffee while reading the new Cloth Paper Studios. I LOVE that magazine. I really should just subscribe to it and be done with it. hehe

Now I've had a shower, am thinking about food and ready to spend the day on here. Have some design updates to add to the creative blog and some things to check out with the music blog. Somewhere I NEED to work on a short story.

So glad to hear that you are up and about and feeling better. I hate when my kitties start that "kneading." Reggie is probably the only one that does that and it's usually when I'm sitting on the living room couch visiting with someone. If I'm sitting there, she has to be right next to me getting all the attention she can get.

That will be nice, but I'm not ready yet for the cold weather. It's been getting up to about 93 here the last several days and should stay that way for awhile.

Oh, I sure hope that they protect the house. Maybe the storm will go a different way and you won't have to worry about it.

Early onset Alzheimers can start way before that. There was a lady that used to be in our Ward that was at least 10 years younger than me or maybe even more and she already had it. It was really difficult to deal with her because of the memory loss and her attitude.

those things were starting to escalate other issues with him. He would lay something down and forget where he laid it - then accuse me of "hiding" the item. Usually his glasses or his truck keys. I don't know how many times I had to stop whatever I was doing, to find items and the attitude he would get when this happened was really mind boggling. Maybe being away from those issues is part of the reason my blood pressure has dropped.

I know the feeling. We're back in the 90s again. The house was at 80 when I got back from town so decided to shut up and turn on the air. I'm still fighting a fever and didn't need any extra warmth. My little lizard on the back porch is enjoying it though.

Bud calls it my Kingdom, lol. I liked your Paradise Tower...it went with Kingdom but your Paradise Loft made me think of "Paradise Lost"...maybe I should calle it Paradise Regained. Wow, how's that for a flashback to English Lit?

I usually have 1 on the back porch and one on the front deck. I created the gravel bed on the south side of the house for them and the King snake to enjoy the sun.

I went into Memories for lunch. Cream of broccoli soup and ribeye steak sandwich in a whole wheat tortilla. Then decided while I was out to go the other direction into Winona for a few groceries. Needed eggs and milk. Picked up a few stock-up items while I was there. now I just feel like I could use a nap.

I have not seen that magazine...

glad you are feelin better

Hello It was a good day but I am tired...and another early morning tomorrow...I am going to sit with Faith at their housr in the morning so she can get her morning nap, she missed that today...she did fine bit I know a schedule is better if we can try to keep her on that

I plan to bring Faith home tomorrow after noon, tomorrow and Friday are going to be busy and very possible difficult days for both of the girls... This will allow Tammy freedom in her needing or wanting to take care of things and be with grandpa...

First they are now ready to tell grandpa he cannot go home... but needs to go to a facility and today Tammy was told "MIKE" his son will be on his way here tomorrow...probably not arriving until Friday...
So I just thought having Faith here might help...

Brooke will go to her dads Friday after her game...

I know there will be more than one reason for grandpa to not be happy, his home , his diet, and his life in general...
I hope he can see how much his girls love him and want to be there to help him...

Remember this man is a firm believer, it is HIS WAY or NO WAY : (

But that's a big deal. Email and facebook have been such a wonderful way to reconnect.
