Oh, so sorry Dody that you weren't able to be there with her for this. I'm sending up prayers for her swift recovery and peace and comfort for the both of you.
well, my company has finally all left & thanks goodness!!!!!!! Matt is a good friend for Bud but he drove me nuts! He is 28 but unlike Justin not very mature. He spent the last 4 days either eating, drinking beer or sleeping. Good Lord and when he ate, he cleaned us out!!!!! For example the day he had cereal he ate half of the box! When we grilled pizzas, he put almost an entire package of peperoni on his pizza....that would have lasted us a month! And that's with Justin & Liz eating it too. oh well, live & learn...and be grateful for your own kids!
Sounds like he is still a growing boy. So what was the purpose of his trip down to visit you guys. Doesn't sound like much going on with him with visiting.
Bob's on the road and I'm getting started here. It's a gorgeous day... about 72 with a light breeze. No AC on. Have the windows and doors all opened up. Wanted to get the TPT card posted then I'm going to get on the Wii. I have yet to try the Country Dance I bought a couple weeks ago.
With all the visiting, eating out stuff I managed to lose 2 pounds last week. Bob lost 1 while he was home. I want to lose 6 over the next 3 weeks and he's shooting for 9. We'll see how each of us does.
I didn't have anything piratey so I didn't play this week with TPT.
Congrats on the 2 lbs. lost. Good luck with taking off some more.
I went out to walk and it is so humid out today. It's only about 90 degrees, but the humidity makes it feel so much hotter. i was glad that I was walking inside.

Thanks, Maggie. I'm going to try. It will be nice to work out on the Wii today without having the AC on. I prefer breathing 'fresh' air

I did not play either Maggie,
if I can away from here for a while, I know where there is a small pirate sticker book that I thought would be fun to send...
I hope I can get that done ...
My TPT card is in the gallery and on my blog. I've added a couple of blinkie buttons to my blog sidebar. Time to check the mail and enjoy my Colton's leftovers. Still really cool and slightly overcast here. Maybe I should be working in the shed instead of at the computer Hmmmm.

put it in a spray bottle?? I have some carpeting that needs definite attention. Mom had lots of "accidents" on it and now the girls are using it too.

Were there health risks as to why she had the hysterectomy? Yeah, being away from your kids when the mommy thing kicks in is NOT easy. Just offer up prayers. She knows you're thinking of her.
yeah, there was...she was a flippin mess inside. The doctors thought she would not be able to ever have any kids but she surprised them with 2 healthy, beautiful babies. Now it was time to think about herself.

He & Bud really bonded over the last few years. He helped Bud a lot with heavy lifting and such during the last year & a half. He wanted to see the new house & visit with Bud. I do not get the guy point of view, lol. Bud thought Matt was just fine however he wasn't spending hours cleaning up the kitchen. Hontestly, I probably would have been okay also if I wasn't stressing over Stephanie.

wondering if Soni meant a tracheotomy tube - intebate means to put in a breathing tube (usually into the mouth) and if I remember right, from Mom's stay, extrabate means to remove the breathing tube.

yes trache not tracle yes at first they said he would not be able to come off, and would need to go from breathing tube to a full trache... or vent... yes extrabate means to take breathing tube out...
we have them here too and they are loud. Suzy how did you stand the noise? Course maybe they don't sound as loud when it's only one bug.
Yes, it was loud....but, I knew that it wouldn't last long! Just one in the house was enough...and we do get them in, what it seems, large numbers!!! Oh the noise at that point will drive you nuts!!! Jack said it was funny to watch...Pie watched it go around the yard....and then it hit the house....and then over the house. Pie was after it in a flash....came back with it in no time at all!

Well, I'm back after 2 trips to the vet. Got to the vet with Sophie, only to find out that it was supposed to be Maggie. So called Ashley to see if she wanted to drive me back, Maggie is such pain in the car with just me alone. She won't sit still and is always in my face. Ashley has her permit and I thought is would be good practice to drive a different vehicle than the one she's used. And you just knew Ashley couldn't get out of the house to go with Grandma without Addison too. So...$65 later, we are home. Ashley is home, but Addison is here. I got her little kitchen off the porch and into the living room, along with the play food. Yay - enough boxes unpacked and disposed of to have room for her favorite toys. She is playing so good right now. I bet she will be trying to get over here every chance she can now that her "kitchen" is set up. I have a cupboard that my grandpa made for me when I was Addison's age, I'm going to bring that down from upstairs so she has a place to store her dishes. She also has the table & chairs I had when I was 5yrs old. Then there's also the doll crib that was my Mom's. I could probably make her quite a little play area.

Dody....I'm so sorry to hear that Steph had to have surgery and you weren't there for support. It sounds like she is doing well. I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers...and you too. I know it makes it hard for you to be in FL and she is in GA. I remember when I had the same surgery, my dad came down to help with things around the house here. I couldn't drive for 3 weeks!! Jack thought he was going to be out of town for most of that....job at the time. It sure did help knowing that he would be here to take me to the doctor for my check up 10 days later. I think it was good for Dad too. My mom had been gone not quite a year at that point. He was so handy around the house. I teased him and said he did a better job of cleaning than I did....did he want a job? He just laughed.....

It was for distemper shot and heartworm test. Costs almost as much for vet visits as it does for human visits. I thought I would have to reschedule but they had a cancellation and asked me if I could go home and get the right dog. Guess their office needs the money too.
It was funny to watch Maggie, she didn't want anything to do with Ashley and normally she sticks like glue to her. I think she thought Ashley was the one who poked her with the needle. Good news is that Maggie lost 2lbs since her last visit. She went from 20.7lbs to 18.4lbs. Vet was impressed that I could not give in to Maggie begging. Told her it was easy, I feed them just before I go to work at 9:00am and then when I get home at 9:00pm I set down a bowl of kibble for both dogs to share.
So I bet if Maggie has lost 2lbs then I bet Sophie as too and that would be good because with only 3 legs, Sophie isn't supposed to get too heavy.

Things sure do happen for a reason...

Dody, I saw pics of Alyssa's party, Stephanie did an amazing job on things, it sure looked like a fun party...
What birthday memory for Alyssa, two awesome parties in the same year...
I am so happy you were able to have one at your place...

Yes, you can put it in a spray bottle. The bottle is pretty good sized for under $5 so should last awhile. My daughter started me on it. She would put a Nyquil cup of it in the laundry.

putting it on my list for the next Wal-mart trip.
Well, Addison just went home. House is so quiet when she's not here. But... the weekend's coming and I'm off Sat & Sun. I bought a snow-cone machine on clearance for $10 plus grape and orange sno-cone syrup. Guess what's on the agenda for the weekend???

I guess I needed a nap Krista got home in time to take Cody to school for warm up , and his game
I did not make it to his game
Ali had a really bad head ache, not sure it if was frome heat, or over work from practice, or stress, or neuro issue so she did not do 3 hour practice this after noon...I am praying it is not her neuro syndrome... she cried a lot yesterday due to great grandpa
I think Krista Ali and I are headed back in, Ali wants to see great grandpa...after a long talk last night with all of us we agree she is alright to go ,...
especially since he is awake and responding as best he can... Tammy said he was pretty good, not liking the tube in his mouth, I bet that is an understatement ... I know how I would be ...
ok I need to freshen up f I am going out in public... I look like I took a nap too
I am not sure but I hear I might be bringing Faith home not sure about Brooke since she had an afternoon double headed tomorrow... At least it will free Tammy up to be at the hospital
