I need to wait before I can download some of the images. My 8g image FD was the only one I had with enough space on it to hold over 1600 pictures from the wedding on Saturday. As it was, there was one person we didn't think to get his pictures before he left. I think I'll send him a FD and ask him to download them for me.

I went to the pump house...and found out our holding tank for water was spilling over. There is a dent on the side when they put it in. Which is where the water was coming out. So, inside the house I go to wake up Jack. He got dressed to go see what the problem was.....I went to get dressed. Not knowing how much work we would have to do. He had it all fixed. It seems the float for the pump to turn off had gotten stuck. So, he got the ladder and sprayed some silicone spray on it. He said that I had caught it in time....that we hadn't lost much water at all. I apologized for waking him up...but, he said I was so calm about it. He said I handled it well. We ran the sprinklers again to see if the pump shuts off this time. He is out there checking now.

So, I've already had my adventure for the day!!!
What is it with pumps this week. Our pump kicked out 2x last week while Adrian was playing with her Sponge Bob sprinkler mat. That hasn't happened since the pump was put in almost 3 years ago. So now I'm keeping an eye on it.

We are borderline for the drought reading. Sure hoping we get some of the rain they are calling for over the next 3 days. I'm going to sit every bucket I have out there to catch rain water LOL

I have a printed off list of all the DP that SU has put out that has a list of all the colors that it goes with, so when I'm making a card and want the right paper, I can just figure out what colors I"m using and then see if I have some paper that will go with it.

Grilled chicken, rice, stir-fry veggies with fruit for dessert sounds like the perfect meal.
That would be handy to have. Could you share, please?

Thanks Krista. Sometimes I think I'd just like to have all kinds of shelves around, but I think except for having a table to put my Cricut and Cuttlebug, I like it the way it is. It feels more homey.

Oh yes, it's hard for me to say that, because I love ribbon, but I think I'm going to be very selective about what I buy from now on. Must use what I have to clear some space for new.

I also altered an old cigar box for a swap I am in. For my first altered box to do, I don't think it was too bad.

I have tons of work here at the office - have a wonderfully BLESSED day!
I love that image. You colored it nicely. Great card. would love to see the pic of your altered cigar box.

Adrian is awake so I need to see how she's feeling. Sue has suggested a couple things she normally gives her... neither of which I have on hand of course. So we'll see where our day goes. Might have to make a quick trip to Dollar General.

I worked in my sewing room getting it ready. I may get to play in there yet! Geeze the space is huge, it makes my sewing room in the new house look small (even Bud said so!) But I remember my old sewing room & will still be thrilled.

I'd be glad to share. Once you get your own stamp room all set up, you may be surprised.

Wow! I can't imagine that your space there is larger than your new house is going to be with that whole second floor!

oh! the new house isn't a whole floor. It's really a half of a floor. It's a media room about 20x24 maybe? and a bathroom & a nice size bedroom. It's like an in law suite. The media room will be my sewing room & the bedroom will be my craft/office space. Very spoiled am I! If I had to guess the size of this roo....maybe 50x30? just huge!

Well, it is a big space even though you're breaking it up into 2 areas. That will be good so you can keep your craft stuff separate. Bud will probably have to send out a scouting party for you every so often to see if you're okay. You'll be totally absorbed and won't want to come down.

Yes they can. She's not crying today and has smiled and talked a bit. Which means her throat probably doesn't hurt. She even ate french fries for supper and a dish of ice cream - a perk to being sick LOL We both napped after her 12:30 dose. I just gave her another one and we'll do it again at bedtime.

Wow! that is a lot of space. I keep envisioning my studio. I'm determined it will be built before I"m too old to enjoy it. I've even determined how to incorporate twin beds for the girls when they come to visit. So far, I'm looking at 20'x25'. We had started with a 15x20 but I've decided with adding twin beds, the extra footage would be a plus.

Davina and I didn't get home from the hospital until about 5:00am. Now we are just waiting. We have no idea at this point how long she will be under sedation or need the tube for breathing. The one positive note from the whole ordeal is that the cat scan at the University hospital showed no changes in the brain bleeding from the cat scan at the local hospital. So we are optimistic that there will be no residual effects. The nurses in the ICU did tell us that she was able to follow simple commands for hand and foot movement and we are hoping that continues.

There will be more evaluations done today. We are not sure when they will remove the tube. Davina and I are both at home for a bit today because there's nothing we can do there. They will call us with any significant changes.

Oh, Sue. Bless your heart. I know how that goes. That sounds very similar to what happened with Mark's dad last year at this time. Hugs and prayers for you, your mom, and Davina.

That's one thing that Jaydin LOVES about FL. She loves watching all those lizards. Wow. They are everywhere down there. We have a bunch of different kinds here, but not nearly as many as down there!

It really was. I hope that Mark learned out to grill that salmon while he was out there. It was SO good. Jaydin and I had the leftovers tonight for supper.

I'm about ribboned out. Don't think I have room for anymore. Never thought I'd say that, but if I do need something, then I just want to get that particular thing, and not have a lot that I'm not ever going to use. She has sent me a lot of printed ribbon and I seldom use anything like that unless it's dots or stripes, but if it has words on it, I just don't really use that kind.

Good for you, Maggie!

We worked yesterday morning on getting the library cleaned out. We're going to organize the books better and put them somewhere else (we think). We are planning to build a closet/room off of the balcony (into the attic space) that I can use for storage up there. Then, I will have the library area for my Haven space. That will give me two 21'x14' rooms. I need to use one for a cutting table and fabric .....

I also posted it over on the Monthly challenge thread.

I should probably put it in my gallery. Do I attach a code to it?

I also altered an old cigar box for a swap I am in. For my first altered box to do, I don't think it was too bad.

I have tons of work here at the office - have a wonderfully BLESSED day!

Cute card, Karen!!

Oh, poor baby!!! That makes a trip very miserable. I hope she's feeling better tonight.

very nice, it's hard to get used to a pool being just a few feet from the back door!!!!! Our house will have about 20 feet of back yard...total & they say they can put a pool in there too Luckily we got the lot we wanted that backs into a conservation area, so no rear neighbors just a 15 foot buffer & then trees!

Oh my word!!! A 1500 sq ft room for crafting?! Wow. That WILL be an adjustment for you if you are in the rental for long. But having those 2 rooms upstairs will be very nice. That's pretty much what I have now, too ..... just a tad smaller. I know you're going to love it.

Wow. Can they really!? I guess that maybe a 15x20 might work.

I LOVE having our pool. The kids are loving it, too. I don't regret it at all.

I got stuff together for VBS today. It starts Monday. It was nice because I took all the stuff from last year, kept it in the bags I had it in at church, and kept it all together. There are a LOT of things that I don't have to cut because I already have it from last year. And TONS of stuff that I don't have to buy. It's nice to have most of that out of the way.
