Hope you get it all done. Wow! That's a lot of space to give up. I don't think I could do that unless I gave up stamping and scrapbooking.

It is always good to purge a little bit though and get rid of clutter!

I know I really enjoyed the purging part of our move. Then I look around this house and think I need to do it again... Not the move just the purge part hehe

I need to get some sheetrock repair done and was thinking I'd have them strip the wallpaper in my small bathroom and just paint it. I like it okay, but it's been in there for a long time. It's basically a 1/2 bath because it's just the sink and commode.

that's a great idea! if we need it I will look for that! Zoey was really good about staying with me when I was in the room, now that I am upstairs I put them in their beds for a nap.

Seriously, I am so excited - I should have a final, written offer by Monday, Tuesday at the latest. My hours will be from 2:00pm to 10:30pm and I work every other Sunday. The best part is that I will be making almost $4 more per hour than I was at the clinic. Okay, I just need to breathe and wait patiently for the written offer which will come by email.

This also means that should I need to, I can move back to my own house and not have ANY financial worries - should I need or want to make the move.
*happy dance~happy, happy dance!*
That is just awesome!!! Those hours aren't bad at all plus a raise, whoooohooo!

Ooops! Sorry. Hope you were toasty during the night, but not too hot. I don't like being too hot at night while I'm sleeping. I still have my fan going every night when I go to bed, but it's not directed at me, but it moves the air around and gives me the white noise that I like. I really wish I had not gotten used to having that on all the time. I could probably save a bundle on my electric bill.

I made really good progress this morning, the breakfastroom is done...now for the kitchen part. BUT as I am working away Bud comes in & says that he has carpet cleaners coming tomorrow; so I need to switch gears & pick up my sewing room and move furniture, just as well...that was getting boring. This house is 3600 sq ft, way more than 2 people need. I would love to have a bonus room for my hobbies, we'll see!

This particular story is being written based on a call for submissions from The Wild Rose Press last fall so I'm crossing my fingers.

Most of my accolades have been in the form of contest wins. Though I have been published more than once in Polymer Cafe magazine. I have an article in this new issue just hitting the stands and should have one in the next issue. My first back-to-back and requested by the editor so I'm really excited. It means I'm building a reputation with her.
That's fabulous Kelly. Then you can expand into other arenas.

It's one of my steps to get published. I've been published on FB, but I'd like to get in a Stamping magazine. Just have to do some research and figure out what to send.

Me too! But not my stamping stuff. I think in February I'm going to clean out the garage and hope that the Heavy Duty Trash people will pick everything up. There is so much trash in there still left over from when I was married - like pieces of sheet rock. Some stuff I'll take to the Hazardous Waste dump. I want it organized before the summer comes along and I have to start watering more often.

Whoa! I didn't realize your house was so HUGE! That's bigger than my DD's house in CA and I thought that was big. I think they are looking even bigger in OC. Yes, you could do with 1000 less sq. ft. My house is 2200 and it's plenty for me although sometimes I think I'd like another room.

That's the problem with staying in one house so long, we 'collect' stuff that we might use 'someday'. Bud was famous for keeping boxes, even after we trashed what came in the box at one time we had 4 TV boxes plus several computer/printer/scanner boxes, Those are finally gone, lol!

lol, yeah...it's pretty big & has that full basement & 2+ car garage....too big...just ask me on cleaning day! I do think I still need about 2,500 sq ft.

One good thing about having an extra full bathroom...I can hide lots of stuff in there now. The carpet cleaner won't need that room clean. It looks pretty silly with the design wall, a serger & 1 sewing machine in there but what ever works!

LOL! I tend to do that too because I just might "need" it. I've also been purging boxes. I've been giving a lot of them to my GF Jenna (Noah's mom) since they are house hunting and hoping to move by the summer.

Oh, including my 2-car garage, workroom and utility room which are not under the A/C I probably have at least 2500 sq. ft.

LOL! From which marriage???? My girls' dad and I divorced about 1980/81. I tried it twice after that though and one lasted 2 years (probably 2 years too long) and the other was a quicky in and out. Mostly I don't count those two.

Nope, the last one was probably at least 15 years ago or more. I've lost track.

Hey girls..

For any of you with reading devices, a writer acquaintance friend of mine has a book of Western shorts on Amazon Kindle today and tomorrow.

Amazon.com: Shadows of Yesteryear: Western Short Stories eBook: Jory Sherman, Loren D. Estleman: Kindle Store

Jory is a multi-published Western author and a great guy. If you know anyone who enjoys westerns, please share.

I'm off to haul in firewood and get the house warm. It's that 68 but I can't get rid of this chill thing so going to fix that so I can write tonight.

Actually it should be selling a house, not moving. My brain isn't quite linked to my fingers right today.

Well, can't say that I didn't try! I've given that up though (trying). If it's meant to be, He'll figure out a way to have it happen. I'm content just the way things are.

This also means that should I need to, I can move back to my own house and not have ANY financial worries - should I need or want to make the move.
well first sending thank yous up......

and of course I will take full responsibility for all of those bodies...lol

and third I am sorry that even has to be a thought my frend, but thank you for seeing that it might need to happen...

hugs, so suppose this means no visit south for a while huh???? guess I need to see what the scenery is like up that way...
