Question Pampered Chef product warranty?

Just wondered what the warranties were on Pampered Chef products? I have a chopper that I purchased a few years ago and it has since cracked and doesn't stay put together very well. Just didn't know if there was any way I could exchange it for a new one or not. I know Tupperware has a lifetime warranty on their products ... but wasn't sure about PC.

Oh, and the lady that I bought the chopper from no longer sells PC.

Thanks!

Warranties vary by product...some for one year some for 5 etc...some up to life just depends on the item. Can't recall on the chopper....I was a consultant for a while. do you have your receipt??? It should say and you will need it to prove when you purchased it. Hopefully you will get a response from a current consultant.

The chopper has a 5 year warranty. You will need your receipt to return it. If you don't have it, the consultant SHOULD have a copy. Worth checking into - I'd hate to be without my chopper!

You should be able to call PC and provide them with the hostess, and consultant and they can look up your purchase for you. I recently had to call my PC consultant to do that for me because my rectangular baker cracked and I didn't have the receipt. She was able to get one for me. Don't throw it away yet!

The Food Chopper has a 5 year warranty on it. If you don't still have your reciept (I tell all my customers to keep their reciepts under their silverware holder) and can't get in touch with your consultant, try to figure out about when you think you bought it (Such as at Linda's party spring of 2002) Then call 1-888-OUR-CHEF (brand new toll free number) and explain the situation. Most of the time they will honor the warranty even without a reciept. If you know the consultant's name that makes it even better.

If the clear sleeve is just cracked and they won't warranty it, LMK. This is a replaceable piece (so you can purchase just the sleeve and not buy a whole new chopper). If you have the chopper I think you have it was a generation older than our current chopper. The slightly older chopper had thinner plastic and split often. They redesigned that part so it is now a bit thicker. It still fits the old chopper. If you have an older chopper than that (if it doesn't have a white blade protector/food guard that fits around the blades) then it is older than 5 years. IOW if it only has the clear sleeve and not a white thing that goes on before you put the sleeve on. Does that make sense? The oldest ones only had the chopping part and the sleeve part and the newer ones have the chopping part, guard and sleeve part. It's a three part assembly. If it is a two part assembly it is older than 5 years.

My sleeve cracked & I just bought the replacement. I had a stone crack right in half. My concultant had quit and didnt give me a receipt. I called the company and they were great! They looked up the info and set me a new one! I love PC because they stand behind their products!! Now don't get me started about tupperware!!!
