what is a commissary?

I googled it and got Delicious Fall Flavors. So I am thinking grocery store

I know what you mean about knick knacks, My grama was very into musical things, Clint's dad is OCD about Salt & Pepper Shakers, my mother has cows, and this beautiful Cape Cod Dishes form Avon, all packed away.
That drives me nuts!
If it has to be packed away and you haven't seen it used it or needed it in more than a year... get rid of it!
I am into Gone With the Wind, and Jay's mom Doris, gave me a porcelain Scarlet figurine, well funny story, my mother has the matching Rhett. I have tried to talk her out of it since about 1996. He is packed in a tote out in the garage and has been since 2001.
Her Cape Cod Dishes are still in the original boxes and she started collecting them in the 70's. They had been on shelves up until I was 10 and we moved for the first time. They've been packed since.

Okay vent over.....

nope, one more thing, I wanted a PIGGY Bank a PIG, not just anything with a hole in the top. Well I found one at a yard sale. Now Clint HAS to get them whenever he finds one. I now have 10 PIG Banks! One is only big enough to hold maybe $1 worth of dimes, but it says Chocolate Fund on it! One his mom brought me back from Mexico it is so BUTT UGLY!
Then this other group I was a part of had this thing about Pearls Before Swine so our Mascot you might say became a Pig with Pearls. Everyone who knows me (Clint included) has found me pigs of some sort, some wearing Pearls!
I am surround by pigs. Don't get me wrong they are so cute, but STOP! LOL
I have 6 -- 4' shelves in here full of piggies!
My all time fave is the See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil set on my monitor, They are too cute!

Then on the wall in the hallway is my Tractors, Trucks and Agates. Which started because I had a Micro Machine set of John Deere Tractors. Everyone thought I was into John Deere. The Agates started with my ex DH he had found one and had it sliced open and polished, it is beautiful! I got it when we parted ways. So now everyone brings me agates. Nothing will ever compare to my 3 pound rock though. Clint bought one at a souvenir place and had his sister Laura Engrave the original John Deere Logo on it. cool, but come on!

I understand "bazillion knick knacks" oh an how!!!

I have a thread I started on here for Minnesotan's, well this new lady came in and mentioned she has a swap going.
I feel so confused, i can't find her here on SCS doing a swap, so is it a personal thing?
anyhow, its for those charms in the SU catty

check out the gallery
adorned inserts - Homemade Cards, Rubber Stamp Art, & Paper Crafts - Splitcoaststampers.com

they are adorable, but now for my question.. in the book, is that price per charm or is there a couple in a pack? Page 189

I wondered the same thing...It doesn't say how many come in the package so I ASSUME just one.

I just have colors.

The job I have now is working full time for the guy I worked for Part time during tax season last year. Does that make sense? I will only have one job this tax season, but I have TONS of stuff to do. He has put me in charge of all final year end financial statements, corporate returns, and my usual work besides. I will be probably putting in about 60 - 65 hours a week January 3rd thru April 30th. WHOO HOO!!!

I think the cost is per charm as they are to be used as jewelry. The chains are right next to them. My thoughts!

The lady's swap could be on yahoo or even a shoebox swap.

Hello all! Nesties are easy peasy to use! I have a cuttlebug. They show you how to nest your plates on the nesties card you get with your purchase. I always wanted them but didn't like the cost. Well...THANK GOODNESS for Michaels and ACMoore. They have started carrying them now. Now I get them there with a 50% off coupon. So it only costs about 12 bucks for each one..and each one has numberous shapes and cuts for it.
AND EVEN BIGGER NEWS>> I figured out how to lower my pixles so I can POST MY CARDS! I could still use some help with Google Picasa3..I think someone here uses it?....maybe?..... So I posted the wedding card I made today in my brand new spanking craft room and I used nesties. Take a look if you'd like. Off to make some more cards!

here is what DH had for dinner, i had chicken!

it is two cans of cresent rolls, lay them out on a pizza pan, points facing the edge., sides touching

mix the following together:
2 cups cooked ham chopped up( or use can ham)
diced onion
shredded swiss cheese ( he likes alot)
spicy mustard ( he likes alot!)
brocoli chop it as small as you an get it

then scoop it onto the cresents and take each point over the filling and tuck it under the rest of the cresent ( make sense?)

bake at 350 til golden brown

it looks kinda like a wreath! was in a magazine yrs ago, still a fav here

then

Holy Moly Holly! Those goody bags are soooooo flipping cute!!!! Thanks for the recipe..I will give it a try. I make something like that with the rolls, hamburger, barbecue sauce and american cheese. Jim lovvvvves it. I almost feel guilty because it's so easy. You lay out the cresent rolls to form a base for the baking pan, pinched together to make a base like a crust base...add the cooked hamburger mixed with a cup (? more or less to your desire) of barbecue sauce...put american cheese on top..then add a layer of the cresent rolls, also pinched together to make a cover like a crust. Follow the cresent roll directions for baking degree and time. SOOoooooo good...soooo easy.

Good morning. Today will be super busy at work and then stamp club later on. Whew! Another full day. I have the office all to myself. Boss is taking his Mom to Iowa to visit her sister. He drops her off today and goes to pick her up next Wednesday. Pretty time of the year for a drive!

Anyways! I kinda got my punch working. I think I need to do the aluminum foil thing to loosen it up a bit. I really didn't want to spend the money to buy a new one!

I need to find ambition and get going. Ok...talk to you all later. Have a FABULOUS day!

Good Morning Wonderful Swappers!

I spent the morning working on my new blog--I have had it for awhile, but had not posted anything on it until yesterday--a winter wonderland card for a swap here on SCS. Then I added all of the fun things on the blog and think I have it where I want it--for now..................... I hope to add to it a couple of times a week. I think I need to learn to take better pictures--I just ordered one of the Dummies Books for my new camera, so hope that helps!

Off to work on swap cards and my stamp club cards for tonight. I hope you all have an awesome day!

If you have a moment, please say a prayer for my friend Paul's father. He is in ICU at a hospital up north with some pretty major stuff. He is 81 years old, and they gave him a 50/50 chance.
