Laurie plz take care of your eyes! mine are tired and very lazy in the mornings, then again after dark.
I have very expensive light bulbs here in my room so I can stamp at night, during the day it's good old Light from God!
I complained about the one window on the West so I printed a poster at work of my garden and hung it over the window. It got so dreary in here I hung it in the hall and just stay out of here at 5 pm. LOL
They were just tired last night from the cold I have. Doc gave me some prescription drops to clear the junk out of them. I got a free sample however, so no cash outta my pocket. That was nice.
I slept so good last night. Tom said he didn't. I slept in my recliner again. I can't breathe when I'm laying down right now, so the recliner works great. Took my Theraflu, multivitamin, and a Halls cough drop and I slept really well. I think he wants sympathy. He is coughing occasionally, but he sounds a lot better. I don't know. He will probably sleep all afternoon. Again.

Men are the biggest babies when they are sick.
Clint doesn't get sick, it's weird! Nice, but a bit odd.
He has had one cold in the past 5 yrs. and I think that was because it was so wet and cold for a week and he had the 4 bulls to feed and water, so he was always so wet.
No cows this winter! YAY!

Mouse update.. Clint now claims he is beter than a cat because he can catch more than one mouse at a time and they can't! LOL
He's been putting so much p'nut butter on the traps they almost spring with no mouse! LOL
Max has now taken up a new hobby.. he sits on the counter watching the tap, then when a mouse gets caught he takes it!
I reset the traps twice before I gave up and went to sleep. I had to close my bdrm door so I couldn't hear then anymore!
Clint has one right here on my desk, NASTY! but there is poop all over when I get home, but now that the trap is here... none! So maybe I will keep it just as a scare tactic! LOL

I know, I just have no clue. I am gonna pull the dryer out today, but it is gas and gas lines freak me out!
I am also thinking where the dishwasher goes into the cabinet or something over there, they seem to be in the kitchen the most.
Changing the subject.....
So who has an idea for supper tonight?
I think we are having chili. The neighbor across the street brought over a bunch of tomatoes, so Tom cooked them down. He said chili. We are going grocery shopping after he gets home from his meeting. I need to get going.
I have 40 cards going out to Operation Write Home in today's mail.
Laurie, i hope you feel better soon, and Tom too.....how is Miss Chey doin?
That is awesome about the cards..........
Vikki, pull out the fridge and see whats under it, we had a hole under ours once and never knew why! had to plug it. also near the sinks and tub plumbing........and we had a teeny tiny hole next to the toilets for the water, well had to plug those too!

I just checked your public profile and it does not say you are a member of RAK. Go and join that group--when you are accepted and it says so in your profile, you will be able to see. Sorry, that should have been cleared with Faith when you got set up.
Thanks for asking--Barb

pics: empty, with boullion cubes(will hold 8 ) and with the little flat packs of boullion(teabags fit too)

How fun! I love ordering stamping supplies. I have SO much cardstock, and I think that's a good thing. The majority of my cards end up being donated. I have a box full for Barb to take to Ronald McDonald house, church needs some for their Outreach Mission, and then there is Operation Write Home.
Chili is most definitely better the next day. We freeze a lot of it. Then we have quick easy meals. During tax season I need those. I work long days. This year though, Brian (my boss) says no Sundays. Six days a week will be a nice change.
So what reds and greens are you going to get Holly???
i agree with Brian, 6 days is a long work week! lets hope he can stick to it for you!!
i had bought one of those huge cardstock packs from michaels, the one that has some of every color. it is good weight for layering snd light stuff, but other than that i dont think i wuld buy again.
i like the cherry cobbler, and real red. poppy parade looks pretty too
greens i'm not si sure yet.....maybe garden green...........

Can I just say that I am pretty sure Tom makes the best chili in the world. OMG...it is hot (spicy) and so yummy. It cleared out my sinuses really well, but man it was worth it!

Laure - what is friendship bread?

Well, Bug has his bag packed and is off to camp for a week. I go back to uni tomorrow, so really need to finish a few ufo's so that I can put my craft aside and study in a big way.
Barb, thanks you for being so frank. I love that we can pretty much say anything and no one gets offended - and that we are all there for each other when we need it. DH still thinks that you are either imaginery, axe murderers of 63 year old men who are pedaphiles, but he will get over it!!!
Happy Sunday....

Yah, we are just really good at hiding the dead bodies Kerriann....just so he knows....KIDDING!!!!!
Not really specific measurements and Tom makes some HOT chili....habanero peppers (only 2 or 3 for the whole pot), jalapeno peppers, Bush's medium chili beans, diced tomatoes (3 20 oz cans), crushed tomatoes (3 20 oz cans), tomato sauce (again, 3 28oz cans), 3 pounds ground beef, 3 pounds ground venison, Penzey's Chili 3000 spice, 2 packets of 2 alarm chili mix, 1 package of celery chopped up, 2 large sweet onions chopped up. I like to add cheddar cheese to mine right before I eat it, and Tom adds cheddar cheese and sour cream.
