Hello Kerriann!
Yeah, here is the only place I am talking about it!
This is a happy place, no negative stuff. Creative chatter and peaceful stamping among friends!
Laurie is painting and preparing for her new room (and new home)
Karen is thinking of a creative way to persuade hubby into giving up the dinning room!
Holly is craving some wine! LOL Not sure how that will go with her sewing! LOL
Not too sure anyone else has stuck around.. so its just us?????
That's okay... some one pass me a border punch! LOL I am trying to CASE someone. Well I did and I used the Cricut to do it. Its in my gallery with all the details.
Story Book Layers
Well I really should stop sitting on my butt!
Oh speaking of butts I have to share this with you girls.
Yesterday at my moms my 9 yr old nephew was helping me carry stuff up from teh basemetn and he counted 16 steps.
He made the comment that walking them was good for you.
I agreed, it makes butts smaller.
I was so prepared for a smart remark, but he just looked back at his butt
I laughed and said, "maybe you should quit helping me, you already have no butt"
All the females in my family are BIG, he makes samrt remarks a lot, I tease him when he sits and munches on everything in sight he's gonna look like me and his mom soon!
I think that is a gret idea. I am about to tidy the house, fold some clothes and then start to pack for the weekend. We are going camping with my family. The boys are taking their motorbikes as they can ride where we are staying. They are predicting rain, so that should be interesting! Bug is then on 2 weeks school holidays (and so am I), but it looks like mine will be spent catching up on bookwork!
If I don't talk to you before - all have a wonderful and blessed Easter and don't eat too much chocolate - or drink too much wine!!!!

Kerriann you can invite her, no problem.
It's not a private place, just a peaceful place!
Holly that's too funny! a self portrait! Love it!!
Mine are too!
But I have a timer and I set the camera up . me in front of the mirror and I can see the screen. It's more like the mirror is taking the pic! LOL
Also, I just now noticed your signature line! Awesome Job!
We still need to get some stuff in your gallery! Kerriann too!
How can I envie your work if you don't show it off!???????
Yes, the gallery certainly is a must do. If my data comes back from the data receovery service I can post my latest cards for you. I also have been doing some scrapping - haven't had the urge to do that for months!

Good morning, afternoon to all! It's my day off today and I wish I could send you a video of me in my MAD run to clean the house. I am having easter breakfast here (last minute decision) and I have today to clean my house. Now, the problem is, it is my day off and that means I get to stamp! So I am telling myself --clean and errands till 1--stamp till five! Good idea, huh? Only if it works. We are in the middle of the worse flood season since 1958. Dh took today off again to keep the pumps going in the basement. Now he has time on his hands and wants to go look at new entertainment centers. I think he's trying to divert my attention away from me adding a table to my "stamping room he calls a dinning room". Well, it's working. Now that we have company coming on Sunday I will hold off on adding the table.
Karriann..I am sending good thoughts and crossed fingers that your computer comes back from the dead.
Laurie...tell me about the floor! I am seriously wanting to replace my kitchen floor before my DD graduates from HS this year. I've been looking at them but wonder if it is easy to put down. My DH is kinda handy...but it looks confusing to me.
Vickki...how goes the secret on the ring? Still a secret? Or has everyone found out yet.
Okay..I'm off...DH is staring at me with a glare with his coat on to go to targets. I'll be back later to tell you how our field trip went!

Karen, the floor is GORGEOUS, and I am really happy with it. We borrowed two saws from a friend of ours to do the cuts that need to be done, but I would bet you can rent them at Home Depot/Lowe's/Menards. Tom said it went down pretty easy...It was a bit putzy (is that a word) figuring out how he wanted the pattern to go, but all in all...it went well. Make sure you get the underlayer. A friend of mine didn't and now really regrets it.
thought i'd pop in for a minute while dinner is cookin. baked chicken, with rutabaga and sucatash, maybe biscuits if i dont forget to put them in... ha ha
soon as i figure out how to do a gallery i will! i only have my cell ph camera though, so some may be a bit blurry LOL........ but i did take a few today so i can give it a try!
do i need to do a photobucket thingie to add photos?
i sorta read up on it and it looks like i can just upload right from my files, but if i do that,do i need to do anything to make them secure?
Thanks!
better run and check dinner and get those biscuts ready

Can't tell you about dinner here. DH got involded with the new entertainment system. Which means, the current one get moves into DS room...DS old one gets broken down and trashed...then new one gets set up and the tv and home theater system has to be re-set up. Right now, he's building some of the pieces in the kitchen...some of the pieces are in the dinning room.....I better just be able to get to the wine in the fridge! No matter where I move...it's "honey, you're in the way...". LOL

I had breaded pork chops and a pasta side dish for dinner, and it was really yummy! I got my stamping stuff packed up. We are moving it on Saturday, and it will be unpacked right away!!! I am really excited about that!
dinner tonight is easy! Dh is having the rest of his casserole i built him last night before my meeting, and chicken for me. lucky for him i cant eat dairy or he wouldnt have even gotten any of that dish LOL.............
DS is in for the weekend, so will be fun. i think we will eat out for Sunday, just not sure where yet.
Laurie, good luck and sunny weather on the move day! if ya lived closer i'd help!

Boy vickki...you are one SMARTIE ARTIE!!!
Laurie...It's sunny and warm here...too bad you were not doing the moving in Masachusetts. I hope the move is going well. Better yet, I hope you are all moved in and done!
Holly, you are moving and grooving now! I looked at your gallery. How did you make those cards...very cute! I'd love to try it.
Kerriann...I figure you are enjoying your camping trip. I hope your weather is as wonderful as we are having here.
I'm home early from work so I can get more cleaning done. I'm having 15 family members over for Easter breakfast tomorrow morning. Right now, the first coat of wax is drying on the kitchen floor..DH is trying to finish the entertainment system so we can move everything around this afternoon..and DD is getting her hair ironed.....lol...the important things in life. Good thing with the floor drying is that you really can't do anything else, but sit and watch a good movie or play on the computer...OR DO BOTH! I'm watching Pratical Magic...I love that movie.
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter! Enjoy!

Happy Easter girls!
I will be at my moms yet tonight and helping with as much as possible tomorrow. I go home tomorrow night, but no internet until I am there!
Thank you! I am so glad those instructions worked for you... I never know... there are some parts of SCS I can not access here.
Like the gallery and I can not read or send PM's from here.
So Holly congrats! I will leave you some gallery loving as soon as I can find a computer that will let me in there! (for the record WINDOWS 7 stinks) LOL
We only moved all of my stamping stuff yesterday. The actual move date is April 24th. Then I still have almost a week to clean up odds and ends. I have to be out by noon on April 30th. It did go really well yesterday, and I have pretty much unpacked all that has been moved so far. I have a few things that I am leaving here until the last day...you know...the every day items you need/want to have around.

WOOO WHOOOO! your stampin stuff is up and ready to play!?!?!?!?
I am finally home, tired as all get out though.
Tomorrow I will check out some gallery stuff and I have every intention of doing last Wednesday's sketch challenge.
That's it! Those are my only goals for tomorrow, moving my mom has kicked my butt! LOL.
Oh wait I also need to work on my DSS cards for this month. hummm last 2 sketches.. 2 DSS cards. Good idea!
I hope everyone has had a very pleasant Easter!
Hey Laurie, in your signature you say Cards Made.. is that for a challenge here on SCS????
Nope...I just notice my friend Barb is tracking her cards made...so I decided to do that too. Some day after tax season I might start the thing you are doing...we'll see!
Good morning ladies! I'm up early so I can get moving. I'm going to my sister's today to share some stamping. She hasn't used nesties before so I'm bringing mine for her to try. Hopefully, I'll get some stamping done. Usually, when we get together we gab all day!

Evening to all! Easter was very nice!
Holly...I had 15 but we they all yell over each other to tell their own story. So it was a lot of fun and no drama! the best thing was that they all had a great breakfast...lots of laughs ...and then left! So I was able to go to the movies and enjoy the beautiful day. I saw Clash of the Titans. Good campy film! Don't go for the story...just go for the special effects. I got some cards made today...whooohoo! My sister and I both made sure we didn't just talk away the day but we got some creative juices flowing. I posted my cards to my gallery if you want to take a look.
Laurie...how do you "track" your cards? I've seen on SC how some write down what they have made and how much it cost or how much they made???? Is this what you mean??
Kerri...how did you do with your computer?
Well tomorrow I have a meeting starting at 8am and it's a two hour drive to get to it..ugh! I'll be glad when I'm homeand with my wine!

Laurie, hows the move? hope your catching a break now and then

Vikki! i feel your pain, i think my folks are hoarders too....nick nacks on top of nick nacks behind nick nacks etc etc..........UGH!

Laurie...how do you "track" your cards? I've seen on SC how some write down what they have made and how much it cost or how much they made???? Is this what you mean?? i am in a group on here where you keep track of all the stuff you already have, and give yourself credits when you use things before buying more, each person has their own way. gallery uploads are worth a buck in my book! LOL .
Kerri...how did you do with your computer?
Well tomorrow I have a meeting starting at 8am and it's a two hour drive to get to it..ugh! I'll be glad when I'm homeand with my wine!
While moving my mom and sister I found several flavors of wine coolers, I thought of you girls and giggled! I can not have the stuff... MIGRAINE from hell after a few sips
Holly, I am just keeping a count of how many cards I make. No values or anything attached...just hey...I've made 60 cards so far this year. I was considering tracking it like Vikki does, but probably won't. I track too much other stuff, and I am part of a Stamp Club...so I spend a set amount every month anyways.
Moving...here's the rundown....We moved all my stamping stuff on Saturday. April 24th we will be moving all of the furniture. Any time in between now and April 30th all the other "stuff" (clothes, dishes, linens, etc) will get moved.
It's going to storm pretty soon here. They are saying we may even get small hail. Yuck. I was just talking to my BFF, and she said the windows shook it thundered so loud! Crazy weather!
Easter was quiet. Tom was over, and we made a ham, carrots, mashed potatoes, and dinner rolls. I had a peach cobbler for dessert (from Tastefully Simple). It was very sweet. Not sure I will get that again. The ham was fabulous!!!

Good Tuesday morning Ladies!!
Question, do any of you have any construction type stamps?
I will go look at digital images now.
My great nephew turns 6 in June and I guess he is major into construction stuff. I found one in the gallery, it had been cut out and pieced together.. very cool!
I want to get that set with the hammer and stuff like that from SU. I just haven't done it yet...Maybe at May's stamp club I will. I know...that doesn't help you now. Sorry!!!

Thanks Laurie! Well if you get it in May, real fast make me a card front! LOL
So what is everyone up to this evening?
Clint got my truck fixed again! My older sister Teresa text me and wants to pick her up tomorrow evening and take her to moms as a surprise. She lives in Shell Lake WI.. her dh will bring her over here to MN.. straight across from them, is about 15 miles south of me and an hour or so North of our mom yet.
Teresa is a cleaning freak and wants to go help my mom clean up the old apartment
Anyhow... when is every ones B'day? we should start our own little club here
