I'm in Pittsburg today, and we have 6 inches of snow this morning!

I'm in a hotel a few days, traveling with dd, she works during the day but hates the drive by herself so I came along. We decided to leave early after hearing that a storm was coming. So I threw together my crop bag. Limited to one bag just for some simple projects and something to do during the day. We sat down last night to craft, and I realized I forgot my stamp block! I had to improvise using my iPhone! You can see my project on my blog today.

Have a good day!

Hi everyone! I think I am friends with all of you on FB. If not, please send me a request!

Tim and I were planning what we want to grow in our container garden. Then it dawned on me this morning that I forgot to plan for sunflowers. I want to grow them this year, and just see how they do. We have a ton of birds there, so I know they will get used.

I'm a bit grumpy today thanks to my Ex. Won't go into details, but I am annoyed.

Anyways....I hope you all have a wonderful day! Hugs!

Haha Vikki, just cause I've been washing curtains......

We had a fairly quiet weekend. Didn't really do anything. Yesterday either, for that matter. Had a big nana nap because I was tired....

Today I am off to do a scrap class. I have a pile of housework to do - and bookwork - but that can all wait until tomorrow...

Evenin' girls!

Joyce, sorry to hear about Ashlyn's accident. Hope everything is ok and it is just the car. Nerve racking to say the least.

Went to the chiro today and got my neck adjusted. Thinking I'm going to be going back later this week. feels much better now though. Still really sore and stiff on the left side.

Hope everyone is doing well.

TTYL!!!!

Grace, hope your feeling better. The Chiro never helps me. I am always in more pain after.

Ashlyn is fine. Car is at shop. Rental car in driveway. She leaves today for a week.

Easter plans? We have none, with Ash gone I'm not cooking a big meal. Maybe just go out to dinner.

Easter plans: small dinner for me, Tim and Mom. Ham, carrots, smashed potatoes, and Dreamcicle cake for dessert. Church tonight, tomorrow night and sunrise service on Sunday morning. I love Holy Week!

Not much is new here. Working a bunch yet. The full moon has really messed with people this month. Has made them seem extra odd and cranky. Hope that passes soon.

Joyce, I am glad you are all ok. Bummer the car is at the shop, but it could have been worse!

Hi.

Joyce, I am feeling much better. The adjustment I had this morning really helped. It's an ongoing thing, ever since I fell in 2011 and knocked it out of place, and didn't get it seen to right away.

Not sure what we are doing for Easter. Will figure that out tomorrow probably. It's really different without John's brother around to try orchestrating everything. I'm taking the day off tomorrow and haven't said anything to my family. I really need a 'mental health' day for myself and if they know... I'll have my day planned for me!!

Hope everyone is doing well.

CAIO!

Easter is officially here this year. Doing ham, cream cheese/herb mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. Jodi is doing a candy tray and appetizer, hoping Annie & Mom bring dessert. Going to be really simple as far as cooking/prep. Should be fun, this is the first Easter that Jordan will get to go on an egg hunt in our yard.

Got some bummer news on repairs my car is going to need when I got my oil changed today. Water pump is leaking and so is an axel seal. ARGH!!!!!

Everyone have a very blessed Easter!

Caesar got stung by a bumble bee last wkend.....poor guppy!

we have been taking him out on supervised walks, and he got to it before Robert could stop him, and, he smacked it once too many times, lol.........stung him right on the paw.

so, since he loves to play in water, i filled the bathroom sink with water and ice cubes and he played away! Even stood in the sink, lol. so the swelling wasnt all that bad.

i now have infants tylenol and benydryl ( both liquid form) on hand if it happens again.

its like having a toddler in the house, lol

Square Foot Gardening

The best part... No weeds, continual crops thru growing season. My dh built my container this week, working on getting it set and filled this weekend.

Good Morning!

Re-activated my Facebook account this morning. DH wanted to look at the page for his local so I'm back for a while.

Holly, ouch for Caesar, poor little furball. hope he learned from it. Had a dog that had learned how to kill bees without getting stung. Was fascinating to watch.

Ended up spending the day running yesterday but was enjoyable! Cleaning is on the agenda for today... Might boil and color some eggs today... Don't think it would be Easter without some...

Blessings for a joy-filled day with family & friends.

{even the annoying ones... you never know when they will be gone and you find that you really do miss them!}

Morning ladies....internet is making me crazy!

Okay here's a stupid trick i've learned that works..

haven't tried it for chefville yet! LOL

pages sit loading forever! so once the title is seen and I click on a different site (on my fave's bar) then quick click stop,,the page I wanted is now there.

i haven't been able to post here or galleries so here's my first try with this new trick

Just in case I only get 1 post in....

How's Cesear?

Gonna try to check out the link for sq gardening

Had to go back to using Firefox..so unhappy

Google Chrome apparently is not compatible with MDS downloads. I was downloading a new kit and that went fine, but the I ordered MDS2 it downloaded, but wouldn't install (had errors) kept saying Download interrupted..so I called SU support she said that is a firewall issue...shut down my firewall and started over, again INTERRUPTED
so I 'googled' download interrupted...first 5 topics involve Google Chrome
it's known to cause this error. So I went in and made my firefox default and started the download over again....UGH Interrupted again.
SO I started over again, and watched it and my connection....it fluctuated from 35 kb per second (good) all the way down to 5 kb DAMN!

SO I called SU and asked if there was any way I could change my order from Download to the disk (which now i will have to pay for shipping and wait a week to get)
I told her my issues and the error messages I get, she said after the day you have had i am going to just send you the disk!

WOW sweet

But I had already uninstalled Google Chrome, and this is really super slow using FF
Safari isn't working at all either with this virgin mobile stick

I have also learned during all this error fixing crud...IE has an issue being compatible with Windows 7 with 64bit..how the h*** is that possible? aren't' they made together? Both by Microsoft how can 1 not be compatible with the other? UGH

I am watching Too Cute reruns this morning....

Hi everyone! We are going out for supper tonight. We have a giftcard to use, and neither of us feel like cooking! I do have to bake the cake for dessert tomorrow yet though.

Not much for news here. The snow is melting, and I am VERY happy about that. I'm sure we will get one more good snowstorm though to finish out the season. Grandma Rose always used to say that once the robins come back, their tails get snowed on one time, and that hasn't happened yet. She had all those old wives tales, and she was usually right!

Holly, I'm sorry Ceasar got stung on the paw. Poor lil guy! You would be amazed all the stuff I kept around for Chey. She had her own little basket in the linen closet!

Wanted to order one single stamp from SU flyer that expires tomorrow, but I don't have the cash to place a big order and don't feel like spending $6.95 to ship a $7.95 stamp. Oh well!

dinner last nite was thin, boneless porkchops browned in the skillet, then the last few mins added a glaze of: lemon juice, dijon mustard, melted butter, pepper,

very nummy!

tonite we had Italian cube steaks.
in a crock pot place a single layer of cubesteaks, top with one can diced tomatoes, 16 oz tom sauce, 1/4 cup italian salad dressing, your fav spices and let go all day. just before serving, take out the meat and shred, stir back in and serve over rice or noodles.

easy and nummy

I made spaghetti and meatballs...Josh only ate meatballs & some noodles with sauce
Clint just had meatballs
Seriously! ugh!

Now they are hungry... they just left for town to go get a pizza. Josh did some work for a neighbor so he's buying.

Oh well

then.....Mia was bird watching so josh held her up ny the cage and told her they weren't for her (like she understood that)
as soon as he put her down and walked away she took a leap up, knocked over Diane's thanksgiving cactus..straight down on herself
I thought she was DONE that pot/plant is a good 30#
but to make not only dirt all over there are freaking bugs in that pot! OMG they almost look like a type centipede.
OMG Why me?
I got the spray right away,Clint helped me clean up the dirt and repot his mom's plant. a lot of it got broken off, i got some jiffy pots ready and some root powder I have not been able to start one of these yet...crossing a finger for at least 1 of the
20 I just started grows

This has not been a nice day

well it is nice outside but now its so muddy everytime the dogs go out (and the cats) guess what my floor looks like? I do keep the floor in my room clean well I did until the plant got knocked over.

if you haven't seen it..go over to my blog and see the kitty on the right with head phones
I giggle every time I see it

Yeah the $6.95 for s&h for an individual order stinks.

its best if you can get in on a workshop or class order, and with the new hostess code it can ship straight to you,but still count for the hostess and have the 10% s&h

but then again when you figure it would be $5.90 for priority mail guess the $6.95 isn't so bad,

And I didn't understand the fabric sale, the front page said 50% off but the price in my cart never changed to reflect the sale. Already the fabric is twice as much as a very good quilt shop brand. The sale price would at least make it reasonable.

Good Morning Ladies!

Pooped from yesterday. Jordan was sooo cute when she was out hunting her eggs. Have some pics, will try to share later this week.

Everyone have a great Monday!

Sorry!
I'm not into the fabrics. I have 1 customer who buys all the designs. Now she is going nuts over the sale.

Maybe the price is like my discount, it doesn't change until the page just before credit card info.

Such fun!

I remember one Easter, it was so nice outside (no snow) so all the eggs were hid in my yard while the kids ate breakfast, then while i was putting shoes on Andy..the other 2 ran outside and took the dog with before I could stop them. The dog found and ate every egg!
