Thanks Joyce & Laurie. It was so cute this morning, she walked into the living room and said,"My bicycle" {we're keeping it here and inside for now} almost like she thought it was a dream. John lowered the handlebars so now she can almost reach the pedals. I'm sure she'll be riding it on her own in the next few months.
I'm worn out, those two are more than a handful! Hoping to get caught up on the stuff I wasn't able to last weekend and today. I'm scraping the bottom of the barrell on clean clothes right now!
Everyone have a great day tomorrow!!!!

Shannon, cell phones are nice to have, but like all other technology, too easy to 'get attached' to using.
Joyce, thank you for the card! I got it yesterday but with all the chaos, didn't remember until right now that I still needed to say thank you... It sure brightened my day.
I'm making progress on laundry and may actually get caught up today. It sure is nice having the house to myself. DH is working again today and this time I didn't wake up with a migraine! Whoo-hoo!!!!

Happy Sunday!
Just a quick pop in to let you know I am still vertical. Got my new SCS screen name and still not used to seeing it. Maybe that will help me fee better.
Not much new for me - going to work and coming home. Got my taxes done and the refunds are already back , into my savings accounts toward paying for the roof replacement.
So tired all the time, went to the MD on the 26th - no problems there. Don't know, maybe it's depression. It isn't the snow... I love snow, just wish I could sit home with a cup of coffee and chat on here instead of spending 3-4hrs a day on the road. Hoping you all are still my chat buddies when I do retire in 3yrs.
Trying to organize this house. So, far sorting and pitching isn't moving things fast enough. Need an intervention. Maybe I should nominate myself for that hoarder show on TV.
Going to go back and catch up on the news.
Laurie... big hugs, missing Chey will probably never go away, but will pray it gets easier to bear.

Okay grace I'm having a bad day I think
no matter what I do I can not send the data sheet to you at any of the emails! ugh!
Someone please send it to her. I got your email just fine...responded to it even and it came back
I just have no brain cells today! Nothing is making any sense to me! I even tried to work out a spread sheet for my own personal use with keeping track of my SU stuff to do taxes..well I worked on it for about an hour..all the columns and what not..its gone,,, no sign of ever having even opened excel
VikkiJo, it's not you it's my inernet provider. I have had problems with them in the past blocking e-mail addresses and such. It is even more of a bummer when I have corresponded with the person via e-mail a few times and then it starts blocking or rejecting the messages. I really need to look into finding another provider. It's really frustrating. I sent a copy of the spreadsheet back with corrrections for my e-mail and blog address. I started a totally new blog... was having issues with spammers on the old one a couple of years ago now... putting links to porn sites in the comments. Some people just don't have a life I guess. UGH!
Hope everyone had a great Monday!

I took lunch and some flowers to Mom and spent a couple of hrs with her.
No tears! just a day of happy memories!

Well, it's still raining here. Not as much, but everything is still really wet. Browny is not working, stressing about it and driving me nuts.
Last night we had a small piece of roasted pork with lots of vegies. Tonight is crumbed chicken and vegies.
other than that, I'm afraid there is nothing exciting going on. I spent the day doing housework yesterday. Today is much the same, A bit of aspring clean, except that it is autumn......

Got socked with a snow storm today which made for a very nasty drive home. The plows weren't out and the wind was blowing so strongly, it was causing some white out conditions every so often.
Hope everyone has a wonderful evening!

Good morning, thanks Holly, I'm just getting back to blogging. I had some unplanned time down. So now I'm trying to get back in the groove. Thanks for looking
Grace, I think we are getting your storms over the next few days. It has turned blustery here, but no snow yet. I'm sure it will get here in time to make our AC trip a mess this weekend.
I just kind of jumped in and started chatting, I guess I should tell ya'll Vikki invited me a while ago, but I was very sick and recouping so just getting back to the norm. Married 2o years, 1 daughter, no pets. Feel free to ask me anything you would like to know. Except religion and politics, I'm very opinionated so don't ask unless you want my honest thoughts.
So, I have sprayed all the weeks that have appeared in the gravel. I just hope the sun stays out long enough for it to work.
Browny went to work about lunch time yesterday. Should be home this evening. Hopefully he has a load to do tomorrow.....
We are heading to Mum and Dad's on Saturday morning. Dad is 70 on Sunday and is having a party on Saturday night.
I have pork mince out for dinner tonight. I have found a recips that I thought I would try....
400gms pork mince
1/2 cup breadcrumb
1 small carrot, grated
1 small zucchini, grated
1tbs plum sauce
olive oil for cooking
Mix everything together and make into patties. Fry and enjoy???
I did a bit of baking yesterday after finished the vacuming and mopping. Read for a bit and had a nana nap. Lazy day I have a load of washing on and am actually looking forward to hanging it on the line instead of in the outdoor area. Small things.......

Joyce, I really like Fresh Brewed Designs {http://freshbreweddesigns.com/}. They offer both digis and rubber stamps.
I've also seen some really cool stamps at Kitchen Sink Stamps. {https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/}
Laurie Wilson's digi shop {http://www.doodlepantry.com/} has some really cool images. She also designs for Clear Dollar Stamps or used to.

Reason: It's been a really long day!!!
Hi Girls
Another sunny day here. We had a few showers yesterday, but most of the clothes managed to dry on the clothes line, so all was good.
I have a million things to do today, or so it seems. First I have to drop Hubby in at Mack as the truck had to have something done to it overnight. Then I am off to folk art. After that I need to get the mail, do the grocery shopping, pack it all away and then get ready to go away tomorrow. I am sure there is something else as well, but I an't think of it at the moment.
We are getting one of Mitchell's friends to stay here while we are away over the weekend, because I don't trust the dodgy neighbours. I had my hair done at the hairdresser which is about 2 blocks away from us. The little take-away next to them was rammed with a car the other night. It was the eldest dodgy from across the road, as the grandmother/mother had been down there apologising for him. Pity she wouldn't apologise for allt he grief she puts our end of the street through.......
Anways,.....sunshine and lollipops............Gotta go and make Bug lunch and get ready for the day

Holly, the pork rissoles were yummy. Although the men did complain that they weren't beef.
We are of to Dalby today for Dad'd birthday. I am hoping to get some photos of my boys and Annabelle and Fynlay. Would you beleive that the four of them haven't all been together - and Fyn is almost 2
Last night it was just Mitch and I for dinner. We made garlic prawns which were yummy.
Anyway, all have a good weekend and I will catch up soon,,,,

just a quick pop-in. it's my one day weekend. caught up on laundry. cleaned some junk files off my PC. working on sorting paper. Someone please tell me why I feel the need to keep so much paper items - you know, recipes that look good (but i somehow never get around to making), projects that look look (but there too, never get around to trying to do them) and other assorted pieces of paper. Too bad I don't have a wood burning fireplace or stove, I'd have enough paper to heat my house for a day or two.
have decided to really take a good look at my clothes - if I haven't worn an item in over a year, probably best to just get rid of said item - out of style or not fitting. Those items that I've been keeping because i just "know" I'm going to be able to wear them again "someday" - probably a good idea to just pitch them. Seriously if i ever do get that skinny again, I'm going to want NEW clothes.
okay, enough said...
hope everyone is staying healthy. I've got the creeping crud - it's in my chest and I'm croaking like a bullfrog - voice comes and goes, cracks and squeaks - makes for interesting conversations when at work, considering I work in a call center and spend about 6hours a day on the phone.
off to do some more pitching.

dinner tonite is a small pork roast, mashed taters and veggies.
nnot much else going on
i hope all are well and having a good weekend, HUGS ((((HUGS))))

Been trying to get caught up on house stuff... the dinners sound yummy! Not sure what I'm going to fix tonight, but it will have to be with ground beef and sausuage... might make a 'hash'.
Need to find motivation to make a card for my SIL's birthday on the 12th.
Am watching 'my cat from hell' on animal planet... Yeesh, some of the people on the show really have no business having pets... absolutely clue-less! The one on right now, the girl {seems like a real air-head!} thinks all of the care of the cat is 'man's work', as well as not having a young tom neutered... about a year old now... marking all over the house and running out the door at every opportunity... and when it was mentioned about getting hime neutered, she thought that was cruel?!?!?!

we watched that episode too.....did you hear her when she said she is too pretty to scoop the litter box? OMG!
i heard that when Jackson thinks the cat is in danger with its owners, he will adopt it from them and either keep it or find a better home! i hope thats true!

Nope, missed that part, but I certainly hope that Jackson does follow through and get cats out of homes that they shouldn't be in. I can't watch shows like that for very long, because I can get so riled at the people on them and want to start yelling at them to stop being so dense! Ok, I'm getting off my soap-box now...

For supper I was going to make Tator Tot Hotdish....
Started to brown up the ground beef.
Checked the freezer for Corn (the only vegie Clint will eat) Half a bag! YAY
Tots..just grabbed the bag... about half..I'm good to go
the beef is done, onion and garlic in it, got the Cream of Mushroom Soup and milk in the beef...then dumped the bag in.
Then grabbed the tots out.. I was chatting with the dogs, they watched my every move (sure wish they could have stopped me)
I dumped the bag in, picked up the spoon to stir it all together..looked in to find I had dumped in a bag of CHICKEN NUGGETS!
OMG Seriously, did I just do that? LOL
I picked them out, the ones that didn't get Cream of Mushroom soup on them I could put back in the bag (guess what I had for my supper)
Okay so I went to tell Clint he wasn't getting Tator Tots Hotdish for supper.. I asked him, if it was possible for me to Out Dork Myself?
He laughed so hard! JERK! LOL
Well Doris called me to see how class went today (canceled for the weather)
anyhow I asked her..is it possible to out dork my frog in the jar moment?
Her reply 'what did you do now?'
I heard her son (my ex) in the bkgrd....cast or stitches..such faith in me! LOL
She laughed so bad she hung up on me! LOL
for those who do nto know... my frog moment...
back in 2006, you all know the All Wrapped Up set?
Well a friend had a bumper sticker that says "FROG" Fully Rely On God, and she had frog everything everywhere.
Well I thought I would make her a cute card with a frog in a jar.*
I stamped the jar put a couple Lady bugs in the jar, stamped the lid...(got side tracked for a moment) went back to my card and got upset.... "ahh man I forgot to put the frog in the jar" my dd said so what's that a problem,
my answer "I already put the lid on it"
She had to walk away so I didn't see her laughing at me...shaking her head in disbelief I think.
I was truly stumped as to how that frog was going to get in the jar with the lid on. It didn't register to me for more then an hour..it's not a real jar, just stamp the dumb frog on the paper! WOW!
See who needs drugs or alcohol in my world?
LOL, Vikkjo, that sounds like me. I had a glass of juice in my hand when I went down in the basement to feed our cats, set in on an old desk down there and spent 1/2 hour looking for it... 3rd trip back down to the basement and I found it! Worked on a card for my SIL, Annie, but was a real struggle since I haven't made one in over a month, I think. Now just need to figure out what to put on the inside.
Been there done that on the dinner fixin's, fortunately for me, John is not very picky in what he won't eat, I am the pickier eater in our house so if I toss together something I wasn't planning on, it usually works out somewhat ok.
Going to the Driftstone Pueblo today. Looking forward to that, John & I can spend hours wandering around in it.
Everyone have a wonderful day today!!!

Happy Birthday to Vikki. Did you get your mail yet? Lol to your 'blonde' moments. I have them all the time - too often in fact)
We had a great time away oer the weekend. The photos are of Mum and Dad and the four grandies, Annabelle and Mitch after having a big night, and my 'little' brother Cameron and Peta's hubby, Des.
Today I have a messy house to clean and tidy, a huge amount of washing, lots of paperwork and goodness knows what else. Browny is only doing a day trip today, so will expect me to have it all done when he gets home, because it really won't take long at all.......
Be back later with a few more photos.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. Busy with this that and the other thing.
Work is busy as ever. Corporate returns are due Friday (the 15th), so we are jammin' to get them done and out.
Vikki, true confessions of your dork sister...your card and stuff has not gone out yet, and since tomorrow is payday the truth is it probably won't go out til Tuesday...sorry!!!!
We have had a lot of rain. Nice cuz it's melting the snow...not so nice cuz it's gloomy and dreary. Oh well...spring is around the corner, and I can hardly wait!
Missing Chey TONS. Tossing around the idea of another dog sooner than later, but realistically know that I need to wait til at least May.
