Good morning!

We had a pretty good thunderstorm blow over just as I was leaving for work this morning - go figure!

Off to another busy day at the office. We are starting to gear up for year end. Today I will be organizing how many W2's and 1099's and envelopes we need to order, and probably start prepping control sheets. They are VERY helpful in making sure nothing gets missed.

Tomorrow I go meet with Glue Dots to receive their donation for my OWH event. I am excited to meet them, and I hope we have a huge turn out. I know they are making tickets available to the event to all of their employees.

I wish you lived closer too Holly! I'm not going to assemble cards that night unless we have a low turnout. I know I will be taking at least one turn at our table on the concourse, and helping with questions, and whatever else. I would like to watch at least a little bit of the game, but we shall see!

I know, but as a Mom, it's gotta be kind of frustrating and well, I would worry.

I'm 6 days post -op and feeling pretty good. Larry just changed the bandages for the first time and says this hip looks alot nicer that the other one did at this time. PT exercises are done for the night. tonight are my shows at 8:00 and 9:00 so will be sitting up watching TV for the first time too.

Tomorrow son is driving me in for lab work. we will leave here about 11:00. So I'm planning on buying him lunch afterwards.

In our family the biggest one you can get the rule is about 1 lb per person. but I don't know if you could get one that small.

Sue--sounds like things are healing well.

Laurie--I guess it depends on how my leftover turkey you want. Get whatever size you feel comfortable with.

I love Criminal Minds and then Vegas CSI.

I didn't watch them last night. Something I ate for supper didn't agree with me and I went to bed at 7:15. I slept most of the night too. So I guess I will be nice and rested for the 2hr commute for a 15min lab test.

Riding does tend to wear me out tho.

I guess I'd need to know if they are 5 adults; how many big eaters; like only white meat?

You may be able to get by with just a turkey breast if you have lots of side dishes too.

Well, it is five adults. We don't have the boys that weekend. Tom and Mike eat pretty good. I'm thinking I will just see what's available and go with around a 10 pounder if I can find it. Sentry has Butterball turkeys for 98 cents a pound with a $25 purchase. No issue there cuz all their baking stuff is on sale.

Life at home was NOT pretty last night. Reminded me all too much of the days before the divorce. Need to think on it and hope for a better night tonight. Very frustrated, and that has followed me to work today. Top that off with QuickBooks not working properly on my computer and jagging me up until around noon...it's not been a stellar day at work either.

CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!

wow Sue! 2hrsfor labs? thats ridiculous!!

it amazes me in the world of tech, that they send us out for stuff like that, when really we could do lab work anywhere and they could email the results to where ever its needed! sheesh..........

big hugs to you too for a comfy ride...take some pillows and sit in the back and snuggle in girl!

CSI is my fave, but I think I missed an episode.
When Haskel had Langston's ex wife, and the very last thing I saw was Langston trying to save her. Then the next episode Ted Danson is on there.
What happened? Did Langston die?

My tummy was unhappy last night too! My mom made a really yummy supper too! There was too much, but it was all good! LOL

Ted Danson on CSI? That doesn't sound like a good match. I like Ted but he doesn't seem like CSI stuff.

Thanx for all the help regarding the turkey and the fudge. I use the oven bags to make my turkey. Theey always turn out yummy. Its usually just me & mom & once in a while my brother. This year Tom will be home this year and I think Mike's girlfriend is coming. She eats like a bird tho. Oh well.

I'm sure my mother or Raye have that recipe, but they are all sleeping.
My cell is DEAD! poor thing! LOL

There is a Vet. in our building and he was down making copies of some charts, he thanked me for my help and I said, to repay me by bringing me a kitty to play with. he said he has a 16 yr old Persian that needs a home.
I clocked out and went to see it! She is so UGLY! I love it!
I sent the pic to Clint and he said ok. but i have to understand she is old and may not be around all that long.
She just needs love and a good home for her last days.

She was abandoned because she stopped using the litter box at home .. they got another cat and she didn't like it!
She probably felt like she was being replaced!
She can have her own litter box at my house, but Spook will probably give her grief about it being just for her!

She can have her own litter box at my house, but Spook will probably give her grief about it being just for her!

you are so sweet...she will def have a happy home at last!!

Oh well.
Ted Danson, Cheers and Becker....but CSI!?!
Very odd role, not sure I like it!
He is kinda quirky at it
