It is a fabulous day in Packerland! However, I am tired! It was a late game, but fabulous right til the end! WOW!!!
I am definitely getting inky this weekend. Tomorrow I will be working on card kits, and then Sunday I am heading over to my friend Christine's to stamp with her and make kits. Should be an awesome weekend!
Good morning!!! It's a GORGEOUS day here in SE Wisconsin this morning! I am in the mood to get inky, and that is really all I have going on today. I have a few lil chores to do, but nothing that takes very long. I have some hamburger I need to do something with for supper, but that will come to me eventually. I was thinking meatloaf, but I don't want to heat up the oven. Maybe tacos....will see.
Washing all of the bedding this morning, and then I need to go fill the birdbath and feeder. Those lil birdies have been crazy around here lately. What's strange is the number of wasps drowning in my birdbath. I don't know what's up with that. I think it's goofy. What do I know?!
My goal is to get six card kits and three swaps done this weekend. That would be a total of about 100 cards. Well, the kits are just pieces of cards with one fully assembled, but still! It's my goal, and I really hope to accomplish it!
Hope you all have a great day! I'll be back later!
well, i decided to finally rearrange our bdrm a bit, i been wanting to for a long time, and really it was just a matter of moving 2 large pieces and some small stuff. looks much better now, less cluttered and stuffed! Robert always yells at me for moving big stuff, but if i wait on him i will be way too old then to move anything
laundry is drying, dishes done and dinner planned so time to get inky.
dinner is ham "steaks", mashed tater casserole, and black eyed peas.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

We are having a rotisserie chicken and sides from the deli tonight. I didn't take the hamburger out cuz I couldn't think of anything that didn't require the oven. We don't have stuff for tacos, and I honestly am not hungry for them. So...chicken is on sale, and all will be good!

what are going to do with the kits you're creating?
I've got laundry going too. maybe a total of 2 loads. the rest will wait until Monday.
Tomorrow I'm reserving the day to work on scrap book pages.
Today I'm going to work on a swap that I need to get done this week and mailed too.

I am "hostessing" an event for OWH similar to the one we went to in Madison. Difference is that it will be in a suite at a Milwaukee Admirals (ice hockey) game. We have a suite we will be assembling cards in. Tickets are $30 each (part of that going to OWH). The game is November 12th at 1:30. The suite holds 100 people, so I am working super hard along with Barb and a couple of other girls from my stamp club to get kits ready....that's a lot of kits you know!

Hello--Happy Sunday Night! We got home around 3:00. The wedding was so pretty--in a garden at a mansion in Wausau. The dinner and reception was fun too and we then stayed Saturday night at the bride's parent house. They have an awesome Victorian House built in 2004 on three acres of beautiful gardens along with a detached three car garage with a recreation room on the second level--that is where we slept. We stayed for lunch and the bride/groom were just starting to open gifts when we left.
Barb, that sounds fun actually! Good frustration reliever - if you have any frustration! Drink lots of water. It's supposed to get warm today (85 I think!).
Back to work today. Kind of a bummer. I was not wanting to come in this morning. I love my job, I just don't feel it today. It happens sometimes! Oh well. Gotta make money so I can buy dog food, dog meds, and stamping supplies.
we were cloudy all day, had some thunder but no rain....weird!
and is it just me, or does it seem to get dark a bit earlier now???
well, Mom took a spill down her back steps taking out her trash. She is ok, a bit shaken and her leg is brusied. i moved the bin to the front yard and told her not to use that door anymore til i can get that set of steps raised up higher for her.
and her Dr's office called about her lab reports and they want to see her, so we go tomorrow. so i told her to let them know about the fall so they can make sure she is ok. hopefully the results are nothing serious, they wouldnt say over the phone.
so today was a bit eventful!
dinner tonite was pasta, salads and fresh bread. not sure about dessert yet!

Sounds good Holly! We had a rotisserie chicken and some salad from the deli. Was pretty good actually. They had just put the chickens out. I bought a peach pie too, but Tom is zonked out already on the couch. He was kinda cranky tonight, so I am glad he's sleeping!
Holly, I hope your Mom is OK! Keep us posted too about her blood work. It amazes me what they can tell from blood work. It's just incredible.
Does anyone have the Golfer Riley stamp??? If so, would you trade me some images from any stamp set I have??? I just need two (in case I goof one up!) for Brian's bday card. Thanks!

I think we will be OK. Holly sent me a box of really nice things to sell at our table to raise money for OWH, and Barb and I are making M&M treat bags, and we all have a ton of cards to sell. We are working hard on card kits. I got my 100 brochures today. Just nervous...want it to be a huge success!

Okay ladies, here's a fast update..
you know I am suffering with an addiction, there is no rehab available.
Well when my subscription runs out! LOL
Ancestry .com has taken up more of my time at home that I ever imagined! I have more than one tree going, I have made some actual connections with living cousins.
Have I mentioned this to you girls... I want to take over the living room as mine.
Clint is going to turn this room into a Man Cave
I'm waiting
1 for his parents to leave in 3 weeks. Since his dad uses my internet and I move my computer he won't have service anymore!
2 I need to measure it out and really plan to move the furniture in this room. My desk has to be taken apart
I just realized how huge this thing is today.
it's 5' wide x 32"
but when I am sitting herewith the keyboard out and my fat butt in the chair.
it takes up over 4'
Uff da!
I will have much larger windows, and more of them. My shelves need planning.
I wish I could print out pieces and make a floor plan to scale of some sort! LOL
Well ladies, I have to work on my pages for Vsbn. gotta be done ahead of time so each hostess has samples in the gallery

one of the new meds has increased his shaking
one is making a difference to the good
his light-headedness has increased I think
he seems sad, but says he's fine.

Hello Ladies--supper is done--roasted veges--and watching the football game. My hands are sore and I am sure my arms/shoulders will be sore tomorrow as we "wacked" for around 3 hours. We used sledge hammers and pounding them like a pogo stick worked sometimes, but some boards were not breaking, so we needed to swing the sledge hammers.
I met roomie at the bank to sign some papers for our mortage and I could not even hold the pen as my hands were still shaking. I should be making my cards for our stamp club swap that meets on Wednesday night, but don't think I can do it tonight. I have a meeting tomorrow morning and then two meetings tomorrow night, so I am not sure how much time I will have to stamp then. I am getting the AC fixed in my car Wednesday morning (it went out this weekend when it was hot and we were all dressed for the wedding!) and I hope that is a quick and cheap process so I can stamp after that.

Good Morning--headed to a meeting in a half hour. I am surprised that my arms are not sore today, but my hands still hurt a bit. Oh well--I will take that. I'll be back later to check in before heading to the stamp room. Have a Great Day!
Good morning! Got my second wind last night around 9:45. That wasn't good in that I didn't go to bed til almost midnight. It was good because I finished Barb's caffeine swap and got some ideas for the Snow swap. I played a bit on FB, and then finally felt like I could go to sleep.
The weather cooled off last night. A/C is off and windows are open. I just LOVE airing out the house with a good north wind. It just feels good, and Chey really likes it too!
Barb, i hope your hands feel rested today, and you can get inky!
Moms appt went pretty good. her blood levels are low, so he ran new labs today to chekc again, and she will need to pop in next week as well. he is also checking her liver and kidneys just for good measure. i think he is most concerned with her anemia. she is bruised from the fall but no breaks or fractures. and, she lost 10 pounds! he told her to get the book "The 17 Day Diet", not so much for weight but for healthier eating. he spoke more today w her than the past few times i sat in w her, which is good. he even chatted w me about my tattoos! so all in all things are good! Whew!
tom, we both have hair appts, then the day is free to do what we want.
dinner tonite was porkchops, wild rice, and peas. we will have smoothies for dessert when our show comes on.

Holly, glad your Mom's bloodwork is good. My mom is anemic too. However, she does not eat very well no matter what any of her docs tell her. Frustrating!
We have some smoke issues here today. There is a big fire in Northern Minnesota. Our winds last night and this morning brought the smoke down. It totally smells like a bonfire outside, and it is SO hazy. I guess I don't mind so much, but it's really irritating my eyes. Lots of talk about it on Facebook this afternoon.
Dinner tonight is leftovers. I ate already. Tom is taking a "nap". I highly doubt he will wake up again before morning.
