Rachel, That is great news about your parasite. I am thinking worm or something right until I saw the picture.
I am assumin that this was not planned?? My accountant is due to go on maternity leave. She is about your age and has been married for about 10 years. They were pretty sure that they couldn't have children and after her being sick for a while she finally went to the doctor. Yep, due in July. She said they had just built and moved into a lovely 'not child friendly' house, which will now get some child friendly additions... Bug's birthday is the 11th, so you could start with that date!

Hey do you all mind if I invite my little secret sister on? her name is Leslie and she lives in MN she has a bunch of kids and needs some adult conversation. I feel bad that I have not "talked' to her really often this round. she has a teriffic sense of humor and I bet she would love it on our chat thread.

we have had summer arrive early and bring its humidity with it.
with the hum, it feels like 95 out already! and thats usually not until mid june.
UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
monday was a very nice day out with Mom. we ran a few errands then had a leisurely lunch, then a few stops on the way home. we grabbed nice cold drinks on the way home too.
yesterday i spent the day putting privacy film on some of our windows, looks good and now we can have blinds open without anyone seeing in. helps keep out the heat too. i will do the other windows maybe next week.
tomorrow i will steam clean the recliner and sofa then go visit with Mom. she found some important papers that have been eluding us since Dad passed. thank goodness! i think in all the rush right after, we just passed over them in our search. this will help close a few more things.
friday should be a relaxing day as well.

Actually this was totally planned! After being married for ten years, the old man finally changed his mind! He told me right before Christmas, and after 10 years with not even a single scare, we're both amazed how quick it happened. I'm actually due on 11/18, but I'm shootin' for 11/11/11 since that way it'll be easy for the hubs to remember!

Hadn't realised that Bug's was 11/11/11 this year. Shows where my head has been. Amazing that you guys only started trying this year - must be meant to be parents....
I have got the ink and my wireless is working today, so I finished my 2 scrap pages. I have to do a little bit of journalling on the second one. It is all bar 2 of my female cousins on my Dad's side. We were tickling each other really hard while everyone was taking photos.

Good Morning--As Jeanette--Forest Ranger on SCS--posted in another thread, today is National Grey Day! That is perfect to describe the fall day outside--if I could not see the blooming lilacs outside my window, I would think it is November!
Hope you have a good day--I am going to get inky again--I got two sets of swaps done yesterday and a few more are on my list today!

Cute scrapbook pages!
The little trees are doing OK--we got another inch of rain yesterday--that is more than two inches in the past 4 days. And, I watered them last Thursday, so they probably have gotten more water than they need. Some are pretty brown, as we waited close to a week to plant them after we got them. I think they were sitting someplace for awhile before we even got them as they gave us 50 for the price of 40. Oh well, what ever does not grow, we will replant next spring.
Barb, I am really looking forward to the sunshine they are calling for tomorrow! I am excited for it actually!
Having quite a day here at the office. I won't get into specifics, but just know that my boss is backing me 100%. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that!
last night I had to turn the furnas back on and I made a rhubarb cake from a recipie my sil gave me. I tweaked it a little and it turned out pretty good but I need to cut down the tweak just a little. for the topping I used brown sugar instead of white sugar and I think I probably need to cut the amount in 1/2 if Im going to do that again. anyway it's still yummy!

I just converted that and I got a bit over 92 litres, which would have cost me about $129.00 based on about $1.40 litre at the moment over here. Good reason to stay home, I think

Oh yes...we are birds of a feather! Heat is one of my biggest migraine triggers.
I am really looking forward to getting inky this weekend. I have 16 thank you cards to make, our swap, and my swap for stamp club. We have free choice for June. So...I need to figure that out.

Good Morning--sunny day here, though it is a bit cool. It is to be nice today and then possible rain the weekend. The temps are to be close to 80 and sunny on Memorial Day--that is great news. We should be able to spend some time in the gardens this weekend and hopefully get the vege garden planted. The ground is so soft as we have had two inches of rain since Sunday--perfect planting I hope. I pulled some weeds this morning and it is nice to have them pop right out!
I have a couple of swaps to work on today and then we are meeting some friends for a fish fry tonight.
I hope you have a great day and if you are traveling or just not able to be online the next few days--Have A Great Loooooooooooooooong Weekend!

I've missed you gals!! Thanks for sending me happy mail and making sure everything was okay. Things have been crazy at work for the past couple of months, and I have had absolutely NO mojo for getting crafty. My mojo has been AWOL since my trip to EC in February, and even while I was down there it was pretty lacking. I think I made 6 cards over a 4 day weekend?
Anyway, I went to the doctor in March, and got some interesting news. Turns out I've been diagnosed with a parasite. Nothing fatal, don't worry! This "parasite" should be making his/her grand entrance to the world some time in mid November.
Yes, that's right, this kind of parasite! ----->
That's part of the reason I haven't been online, because we wanted to wait to say anything until into my second trimester, and as you girls know it's VERY hard for me to keep my mouth shut!!
