Oh.. I may have never mentioned.. but I trully HATE Ketchup! OMG that stuff grosses me out so badly! LOL

Playing with my ex's 2 yr old at the graduation Sunday . He was eating Hot dogs and I went over and was playing like I was gonna steal a bite, so he gave me one! FULL OF KETCHUP! OMG! I thought Jay and Clint were gonna pee their pants laughing at me! But now Broccoli He will not share!

I like my moms Sloppy Jae's but she uses Gumbo Soup in it and Clint says YUCK to that.

I'll have to check into that McMOrmick stuff

I always thought that you guys called what we call tomoato sauce, ketchup - so tell me - what is the differerence between them?

I am really annoyed this morning - had a brilliant idea for a baby card overnight and got up early so I thought I would start on it before anyone else got up. But, when I did my big tidy the other day I have obviously put my sandpaper somewhere where I can't find it. Don't you just hate that.

I am on a roll this morning. Half made a card and have eggplant chutney (I have lots of eggplants and I googled recipes - who knows what it will taste like, but it smells good) on the stove already and it's only 6.56am.

Here's this morning's card - in anticipation of the baby that has her mother in labour as we speak

Ooops the picture is a bit blurry - haven't had enough coffee yet!

Do you use embossing powder? and what is the stuff that you smear over it and then scrap off?

Ketchup has vinegar and sugar added to it...tomato sauce does not...so it's sweeter. Tomato sauce is a bit thicker too. I think I explained that correct...anyone else?

Hey girls. I won't have internet access for the next couple of days. I hope I survive! Just kidding!

I got some stamping done, and I am so happy about that. the cards aren't fabulous, but it felt good to get inky again. It's been such a long time. Once life settles down a bit I hope to make my best cards ever...and I need to get working on Christmas cards! I need to get about 80 done for myself, and I plan on having some done for Ronald Mc Donald House.

The weather is so goofy here today. Cloudy then sunny. Was only supposed to get to about 74, but reached almost 80. Go figure!

GUESS WHAT! We are going to start picking strawberries this weekend already! WOW. So, I guess Tom and I are going Sunday morning, weather permitting. Sounds like it may rain on and off for the next four days, but we need it.

Yes Malika Jade arrived at 8.23am yesterday and is 8lb 6. They live in my home town, so my Mum went up to see her. She said she is very cute. Dane, Malika's Dad, who isn't exactly who you would pick as a son in law left while Mum was ther and Mum was very touched by the way he gave Malika a big hug and a kiss. He has the potential to be a good kid - maybe this will make him grow up. You never know. Granny Trish is very proud. It is quite funny because she is my age (43) and had her 6th baby late last year, so Uncle Jack is 7 months older than his new niece. Cara, at 19 is her eldest. More than I could cope with. The really funny thing is that she has a masters in phsycology!!

This is what I finished off yesterday. I now have the Eggplant and Onion Chutney, Semi dried Tomatoes in Olive oil, Tomato Chutney, Sour Apple Jelly, Ren Onion and Green Capsicum Chutney, and chilli paste and in the fridge is Rum infused mango. They are all labeled and made pretty with material on top, so I am well on my way to my goal of giving only hand made gifts this year for Christmas.

Just so you all know, as well as exam coming up, June 30 is the end of our financial year, so if I am absent a little bit, I am not ignoring you or being rude, I am just trying to get all our business stuff up to date and get the boys stuff together so that I can do their taxes. Probably my favourite time of year other than Christmas

Hi Ladies! I am so sorry I disappeared over the past (ahem...several) days! I can't believe it's Thursday already! I managed to get all 18 challenges done for the VSN, and managed to NOT plant my garden! LOL It's officially on the agenda for Saturday and it's about 10x40 so we have a LOT of work to do! Thank goodness for the hubs and his Mighty Roto Tiller!

I am so in the no-ketchup camp! I'm definately a mayo-on-my-fries kinda girl, and gimme the relish/mustard/onions on my brats! I think it goes back to when I was a kid and we had a bottle that said Catsup.... my brother actually told me it was Cat-Soup! Yick! Besides, I like my tomatos savory, not sweet. I've actually heard of people slicing a tomato and then sprinkling sugar on it... eeew.

Kerriann - super cute baby card! I love that little ducky in the corner, perfect touch! Babies are so much fun, it seems like a third of my friends are pregnant right now! I've been cranking out pages for baby books left and right. *whew* I've been trying to make hand made gifts for Christmas each year, too. Unfortunately, my family is spread out all over the country, so shipping out packages is pretty spendy! Too bad we can't can in plastic jars, right? It sure would make things lighter! I like to send out home made hot chocolate and Chai tea mixes, 'cause those can be in a plastic bag instead of a glass jar. I also send out dog cookies, since everyone in the family has dogs!

Laurie - Bummer about the lack of connection! I'd be pretty lost, but then I'm online every day for work. Actually, I'd probably appreciate the quiet! LOL I got some very cute happy mail today! Thank you thank you thank you!! I'm also looking forward to trying out that recipe, there's a strawberry farm about 10 minutes away that my inlaws have all picked at for years. I'm seeing a field trip in my future!!

Holly - That cupcake recipe looks awesome too! What kind of texture do the strawberries have when the cupcakes are done? Kinda like apple pie, slightly softer but still has texture? Either way, it sounds nummy!!

Vikki Jo - I forgot to mention oh, a WEEK ago, that I Love your invites! They're adorable! My favorite flower is a daisy, and fave color is blue, so they're right up my alley! On the catnip note, my kitties are absolute addicts! We grow it fresh in the summer, and then dry some of it for the winter time. During the summer though, we'll mix some of the new leaves with the leftovers from the prior winter, and I'll mash them together in my mortar & pestle. The funny part is, I use my mortar when I cook also, and my fatcat comes running every time she hears the tink tink sound! Then she gives me "stink eye" when I show her it's just oregano and not catnip!

I just finished a stack of grad-party invites. The only request was that it have a Polar Bear and the color purple. I guess the Polar Bear is their school mascot, but I think they turned out pretty cute! I tried to keep the colors more grown-up so it didn't look like a kids birthday party. LOL I didn't think the 18 year old would appreciate it!

How cool would these be on my jars etc? Will have to see if I can track it down in IZ, otherwise I will have to get it from over your way. I could use this sooooo much. No problems justifying this one at all

OK - I'll just admit it - today I haven't accomplished anything that I should have - like housework and studying. I really need to vacumn, which I will do tomorrow morning before I do the soccer run, but the studying will have to wait until next week - and it has to be full on.
Today I did do the grocery shopping and made some presents for friends who have had and arebout to have babies. I went for something completely different and had to sho you them now before they are dry as I am quite excited. Both girls are a bit 'out there' so they will appreciate the retro look. Yes, I know they are blowing in the wind and you can't see them very well, but they are little all in one suits and once they are dry I will post some real pictures. Now to finish a card for Nanny & Pop and then it will be time to watch my afternoon TV shows and then do dinner!

I just vacumned and cleaned the boys shower. I am on a roll. And my shows still have 7 minutes until they start - first a cooking show, then my not so secret addiction - Bold and the Beautiful!

I have an hour to kill before starting the soccer run, so I thought we might play a 'game' this week. I'll start by listing my strange little idiosyncracies - which my friend the pysch says are all ok and perferctly normal

1. I must wear matching underwear. If I don't the whole day goes wrong
2. I only use white toilet paper, paper towel amd tissues. I would rather use tissues or even paper towel if the toilet paper is patterned or coloured, or visa versa.
3. When hanging out the clothes I have the underwear in the middle, the pants on the next row, the shirts on the next row and the sheets, towels and tea towels on the outside. If the boys hang out the washing I have been know to go and change it to the 'correct' way.
4. My wardrobe is in colours. Shirts, then skirts, pants and finally dressed and coast, but all in their colour range.

Does anyone have any odd things like this, or am I just more mental than I think? Or have I just excluded myself from any further 'No More Drama' threads?

LOL Kerriann you crack me up!

I gotta think about this one.... And I'm not sure if you can even buy colored toilet paper anymore in the states? For sure one of mine would be that I only own four pairs of shoes! (I know, what kind of girl am I? One that prefers paper and ink over shoes and clothes! )

Helloooo everyone! I have been missing for a few days. June is going to be a wild month..but I will check in when I can, so don't forget me
Holly....that little notebook is SO FLIPPING CUTE!!!! I love it! Thank you so much. It's in my pocketbook--I love having a little noteb ook to joint notes down...I've already put it to good use.
Kerriann, I love your Baby card! I also am very interested in your canning. I love the jars and all the cool looking food. Chutney! mmmmm.
Laurie..I know you are computer less--but let me say HELLO! I hope you are back and running soon
rachel, that is one flipping cute graduation card. I see you are a nesties fan also? I just can't seem to stop buying them.
Vicki, everyone loved the graduation invites for my dd party. Thank you so much for helping out! I meant to take a picture, but I was so worried about getting them out in time, I mailed them before taking a finished picture.
It's hot as blazes here, about 90 degrees. DD and I just got back from a baby shower. It was a lot of fun--and the house had ac, so it was very comfortable!
Next week, Katie is graduating on Friday. Two weeks after that is some big deal at work that is major hush hush...but we have to work extra hours. Then the week after that is Katie's orientation at college, which is a two day overnight and then the day after we get home, is Katie's BIG graduation party. Then the next week, I'm off to Seattle for another kick off for work. I don't like having things crazy like that. When am I going to make cards and sit on my butt?
July will be much less crazy and more quiet. Ahhhhhhhhhh!
I promise I'll try to keep up with everyone here..I do love to read how you all are doing. If I don't post, just know I'm reading! Hugs to all!!!!

HI EVERYONE!!! I am back!

We went on a mini vacation, but I don't like to post that...you know?!?!

Kerriann...as far as little things that make me crazy...here we go...

We have three light switches for the light in the hallway. They really need to be all the same way (top pushed in or bottom pushed in). I will make sure they are that way all the time. Does that mean I have OCD?

I am very particular about the organization of my client files at work, but at home I live very cluttered. Not terrible...just comfortably cluttered. It's just how I grew up. But someone messes with my client files and I will go Kung Fu Panda on them.

Dh says the suits are disgusting and no-one in their right mind would put a child in them. Th darker one is not quite as good, but it was my first go. I will play with some more summery ones as I have babies galore coming up over the next 3 or 4 months.
