DT tryouts, me? Not a chance, you ladies may htink I do nice cards, but I don't feel they are good enough to be on any DT.
I am so bummed, I haven't had very much time for gallery Snooping! I will make it a point when I get home to go see a few!
Karen.. stamping a problem? Not a chance!!!
I can not believe I forgot to mention B'day Greetings on here! Sorry Laurie! So did you get a foot rub last night? I told him to do it for me! But if the massage led to other things to leave my name out of it! LOL

Caution... X Rated
Highlight this only if you are not easily offended! LOL
I was watching my birds one day, and one pair was 'doing it' so I went on to other things. Well a bit later I looked over and they had finished and he was almost passed out, panting. Well I saw something coming out of him that looked like a curly spagetti noodle. My first thought was OMG His guts are hanging out! So I headed over to him and I saw a chicken running toward him too, Duck saw him coming and 'sucked his guts in and got up. Turns out it was his ... ahh hum!
I about peed my pants laughing at this after wards!

HAPPY BDAY LAURIE!!!!
Vicki - all I could think about was "duck porn" and it was not a pretty place to go.... LMBO I'm up in Carlton, where Black Bear is? And I go to Pine City Scrapbooking every couple of months! I have been known to drive all the way down there just for blue cardstock. I'm a little concerned about "Salsbury Steak"... is that a critter of some sort? or is it like a pet rock, cause if so I hope you keep him in the freezer!!
Awesome! I do not work next Saturday! I get home form work Friday night about 8ish!
My boss knows I do classes, and I have left early on Saturdays to do that, and to go to Archivers classes. He just rolls his eyes and says OK. LOL

Well I am at work.. here till 5.
Did I mention I am working a kid at home this weekend? He bought Porn on tv, and has to pay it off and they live in town so his parents want us to make him work.
Well he is at my house already this morning.
Somehow he can't do math, he has it in his head he has to spend his whole summer vacation at my house. LOL
He is so afraid of me, not at all of Clint which confuses me.
I got my full security deposit back, plus the amount I had to put down for Cheyenne that I was pretty sure was non-refundable. How awesome is that???!!!???!!!
I went to a rummage sale earlier today and picked up a few stamps. She had some cute stuff. Just what I needed....more!!!
Getting things cleaned up around here so I can just stamp and relax tomorrow. I have a few perennials to put in the garden, and some other little cleaning to do. Then I will be done for the day. OH, and a load of laundry. I tell ya...that fun just never stops!

LOL you never get it wrong on the mail, so I found it kinda funny u shared it that way! LOL
Yeah I live just off Beaver Claw 1 mile down Birch Bark. There are no Beavers out here in the woods, and the Birch are so scarce! LOL
How do they name these roads! ?!?!?!
I am working on another Christmas card today.. 12 days of Christmas, Lunch bags and the Roman Catholic story behind the making of that song
Sounds like fun Vikki! My hubs and I joke when we see names for the rivers around here... like yesterday when we went to wedding number one in Kettle River, I asked him "so do you think there are kettles in that river?" I have no idea how they come up with some of these!
I used to teach classes up at the Stamping Post in Duluth before it closed. I worked there and inherited all the paper scraps from the store, so I could pretty much NEVER cut into a fresh sheet of paper for the rest of my life! I'm very thankful to have all of it, but I tell ya, some days it's sensory overload to try to pick out a green to work with!
And on the DT note, I don't really think I'll make the team, but it's fun to play! Here's the card I did for it: Lil Miss Sunshine I think she turned out pretty cute! But I didn't get a photo during the 5 minutes of sunshine we had yesterday, so her colors aren't as bright as they are in person.
Awesome news on the security deposit Laurie! That's always a nice surprise! (now this means you can do some guilt free indulging, right? ) heehee
It was a crazy day yesterday, but we had a lot of fun! The ceremony for wedding number one was short and sweet and the pastor had an awesome sense of humor!

I was glad too...honestly...I am rebuilding my savings account that was completely drained last year due to eye surgery. I was down to my last $7 and not liking it. I am very concerned that in the future it could happen to my other eye, so I am working like crazy to build up my savings again...just in case.
Well, I ordered some retiring cardstock from SU. No word yet as to whether or not it was available. I sure hope so!
I have some swaps to finish up for my stamp club. I have one made. Now I found my pink glitter, so one will be different, but I will probably keep that for myself. I can't believe it's our last stamp club for this time around. Next round starts in September. Our Wednesday night group has been meeting for several years now, and we are all really good friends. We have such a great time!
I bought some perennials at Home Depot on Friday. Tom helped me get them planted yesterday. That was good. I wanted them to get in the ground before our hot weather this week. I am not so fond of the heat. I don't do well...I get migraines. Heat and lack of sleep are probably my two biggest migraine triggers. UGH!
Well, I think Tom has breakfast ready. Scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and pancakes! YUM!

Eye issues are so scarey and what you went through was awful!
Good luck with the savings.. I gave up on mine, every time I got over 100 in it the car broke.
Do any of you girls burn three wick candles?? I have a holder...looks like a platter almost...from partylite that is looking for a new home. It's gold. It looks like this...
We have a lot of candles, but we don't burn any of them, or use those jar candle melter thingies either. It all goes back to the day when my boy cat decided waxing was a good idea! Except he got the wax all over himself as well as the curtains, walls, couch, and rug. Thankfully he's a long haired cat, so his skin wasn't burned, but he was pretty embarrassed about the haircut he sported for the next few weeks!
I hear ya about the emergency fund... just in the last few months, we've needed new tires on both the truck and the car, and the shocks/struts had to be replaced on the car before the new tires could go on! Luckily my hubs is pretty auto-savvy, so he was able to do all the work on the struts.
I'm having one of those days where I know what I SHOULD be working on, but I just don't wanna!! LOL I should be working on my swap cards for this month so the girls get them before June! The trouble is, I have a few ideas I want to do, and I just need to PICK ONE and do them!

Laurie...I'm with you. I HATE HATE the heat. I become a crabby bratty girl cooking in the heat. That's why starting last week, Jim just cooks out every night or there is take out. I won't turn on that stove! Even the burner heat bothers me. We have AC but not in the kitchen.
Rachel..LOVE THAT PRETTY CARD! You are so talented! LOL on the cat. My favorite cat did the same thing with the wax only she got it on her tail only. She walked around "dragging" her tail for three weeks before she got it all off the tail. Since then, no candles here . When she passed away we got two little kitties (now they are two yrs old). They are a handful and get into things that none of my other cats did. But they make us all laugh!
Vicki..I make one MEAN pan of homefries! I just ate the leftovers from Katie's prom breakfast. I wish I could send you some (....ok...now my brain is thinking...how can I mail home fries???). Excellent that you got your deposit back..that is unheard of these days! How's the yard work going with your helper?
Now, don't read the following if you want to hold on to your money......
I went to ACMoore today. The weekly ad said they had done over their paper crafting section. I HAD A TON OF FUN! WITH COUPONS! I got some Spellbinders on sale! I was thrilled. Then...hold on to your hats...at the end of the new paper craft section-that was loaded with stamps, ink, paper, glues, stuff I have NEVER seen or heard of--was a CLEARANCE SECTION! Yup, you got it--stamps, punches, paper, oh my! I was pretty impressed. I have always only been able to order spellbinders online and pay the shipping. So if you have a ACMoore around you---don't go--you'll spend a ton of money!

I am so glad I am 70 miles from Archivers! LOL
OH not that poor kitty! Too funny though.
I burn all kinds of candles, and I use a melting pot in my craft room, too much paper to have an open flame! LOL
Karen got the email, they are done except for my questions I emaile dback to you.
3" wide?
do you have Publisher or word?
Is there a special font you like?
thanks Vicki! I already replied to you . I'll be away from the computer for a bit. My daughter needs it. Good thing we are getting her a laptop to take to college...I'm tired of sharing mine!

Okay I am now craving Hash browns so badly! LOL
the Boy (as Clint calls him) is doing well. I think he had it in his mind this would be easy!
Every thing I see out of place I have had him move, Clint's dad needed things moved out back. They tilled up a garden spot for Clint's mom and he had to pick up rocks. Then I made him move them over to my yard.
Colleen text me to see how "the sissy" is doing. If we'd killed him yet. lol
Maybe I'm mean, but on the last day you should bring him back out to the cows with a bucket and a toilet scrubber, and tell him he now needs to clean their...
Karen - I'm kinda glad we don't have an AC Moore around here! I get into enough trouble as it is! We don't have a JoAnn up here either, just a Michaels which is surprisingly easy to resist! We hit the Trifecta when we go down to the Cities.... Archivers, JoAnns, and Chipotle!! LOL

I find it easy to avoid Micheals too! Not that I don't like it there, I just prefer Archiver's a whole lot more.
Mean? nope, I already set out the tooth brush and told him that has to get done before I make supper!
His dad showed up at 4. I told him and Tyler said "oh dad lets go, then Vikki don't have to make extra for supper"
I said oh no worries, Salisbury needs his teeth done first anyhow.
Tyler was in the car with all his stuff before I cold get my shoes on! LOL
Troy (his dad) was in on in the whole time. I've been texting him and Colleen all day with pics of him working.
It is sure warm here. Tom has the A/C cranking, and I am almost cold in the house! Thank God we have it though!
We are having left overs tonight. He made a mexican dish Thursday night that was really yummy, and then last night we grilled out BBQ ribs. YUMMY! I am making a tuna pasta salad to take to work for lunch this week. It's going to be warm all week, so I don't want to be eating hot lunches.
As always I have been away for a while. Laurie, it was fine to send my address. And, yes, Australia is the exact opposite in seasons to you guys. We are just about to go into Winter. We live in Queensalnd which is the California of Australia I suppose. Where we live, it takes about an hour to travel to the centre of Brisbane, which is our capital city, and an hour to go to the Gold Coast. So we are pretty central to everything, but we also have small farms within about 5minutes drive as well, so we have the best of both worlds. We would like to move to about 40 acres, but we need to wait for Bug to finish school. We could find another school for him, but we all like the school he is at, and he has great friends there too. I grew up on a large farm and can't wait to have some cows and horses and chickens. We would only have to move about 30 minutes from where we are now to do this.
My sister and I bought a Big Shot together. It has been at her house since we bought it because I have been busy with university and our business, and didn't want it here. I have holidays coming up in a month, so will get it then and do lots of playing. We have accumulated quite a few dies and even some nestables, as my Big Sister from the current round had a shop closing down and apparently got them at a really good price and sent them to me as gifts. I am sure that she spent much more than the $15 though.
How was the prom? Please post a picture up of the girls in their dresses? I only have boys, and Mr 18 left school after year 10 as he had an apprenticeship, so he never got to go to a formal.
Anyway, I need to make 2 birthday cards today, so I better get to it, and then do some study as I have exams soon.

My poor boss...he is interviewing for my job position. I am leaving as of June 11th. Well, he is bombarded with resumes, and well......I feel for the guy.
It's really warm and humid here today. Hopefully that will help the strawberry crop. I love to go strawberry picking. My dad and I used to do it, and now I go sometimes with Tom and sometimes alone.
