sounds yummy.

We had chicken noodle soup. It's a mix that you add your own chicken and water to. It's so good, tastes like a fussed all day.

ok, you all have to tell me if this is a good idea.

My 3 oldest grands are gift shakers. Every year they pick up the packages to see whose is whose. So this year, I'm punching out symbols instead of name tags. For instance I'm using an angel for my youngest grand and other symbols for each of the other individuals. So I needed to use 7 different punches or at least 3 using different colors. Am I nuts? Do you think this will work?? Of course knowing my memory, I'll have to write up a cheat sheet so I make sure the right gifts go to the right people. I have the EK reindeer punch, which I think I could actually use for more than one person because I can punch in white and then use different colors for a collar. I'm using the MS poinsettia punch for my Mom.

that wouldn't work because the 16yr old, the 15yr old and the 14yr old would just turn them over.

But I thought that if I just used the punch with no writing at all on the punchies, they would have no idea whose gift was whose. The littles one is 2yrs old, and I wanted to make this special for her too. She loves my angel punch.

My stamping table, new ink pad holder, new ribbon holder and my file cabinet. Each drawer contains 2 of SU color families in alpha order.

The next picture is a lingerie dresser thingy bobber. All of my "tools" are in there as well as some other stamping "stuff" like a few misc. stamps, my Modge Podge, glitter, paint brushes, Pearl Ex, extra adhesive, etc.

This is my bookcase of SU stamp sets. I really don't have a lot of other company's stamps. I am an SU Junkie. They are arranged by the size of the container they are in. That needs to get rearranged. I need to make more room for my unmounted sets now.

Finally is my desk. It's a disaster. It always has been and it always will be. Please do not mess up my mess. I know pretty much right where everything is.

I see I cut off the printer stand and my cork board full of cards I love! Shoot. Well, maybe another day!

Finally, here is Cheyenne and our Christmas tree. I cannot find a top for the tree. Walmart didn't have any stars or angels, so we have a topless tree this year. I apologize if anyone is offended!

Default This is what is on that door

"This is my story, my song...and with the tales behind each photo, lies a piece of my heart.
We are all a piece of the puzzle from long ago, where our dance with life began.
So sing in harmony and keep the stories alive. remember the words of your ancestors...
We are family...
This is my story..
This is my song..."
Patsy Gaut

That's what it says on the top one of the pics fell off and is between the desk and wall.. very unreachable!
The pics are all flip ups with a full description behind them.
One the bottom left of the door is Joe. and on the right is Joe, Clint, Andy and Carrie in one of the old west photos, in front of that is a Bill O'neil print called Happy bears!

As for my punches.. go to my profile on the right at the bottom is an album of my room... the 4th pic is the shoe holder hanging on the door full of punches.. all SU though

OMG Laurie AWESOME! Look at all those stamps! all organized nicely too!!!

Judy has that same desk except there is nothing behind her monitor and things keep falling back there...grrr

Love the walls

Is that Midnights pic on the desk? We have one of baby Dog hanging in our room and I have several in here.....she filled our lives with some pretty good memories!

Okay now that I made myself tear up!
I went outside tonight to grab something from the car. Louie and Max went with me, they are at the male teenager argue stage. grrr they just have to argue! well they started out in the driveway and ended up in the snowbank over their heads! It was a bit funny, they quit fighting!

OMG this cracked me up!

When we first moved to MN from NV, we lived in a third floor apartment that had a cute little balcony that our cat Tama loved to sit on. There was no danger of her trying to jump down, and she sat out there that whole first summer. Well, our first MN winter changed her mind about that balcony!!

Since we were on the top floor, we got a HUGE snow drift on our little balcony, at least 2 feet deep. We opened the sliding glass door, Tama looked out and looked back at us with a "WHAT the H*** is THAT?!?" look on her face.....

Mike picked her up and (gently) tossed her onto the balcony....

I SWEAR it's like the cat bounced on a trampoline!! She went FOOMP into the snowdrift and was back inside before you could blink!! We have never since had a problem with her wanting to go outside!! LOL

Yes, that is a picture of Midnight. My baby pic in the middle, and my Associate's Degree on the left. Then hanging on the wall (you can see the bottom half) is my Dad in his Army dress uniform.

I thought that might be your dad.

Okay gross and freaky alert...... pull your feet up on the chair,

ready?

I pulled my Sizzix bag out from beind my desk, Since I got the Cricut I jsut don't use those dies anymore.
so I set it up on the desk to remember what is inside, and it's FULL of dog food1
It hasn't been in this room for maybe 2 months, it used to be in the living room and before that I kept it at the Scrap-booking Store in Pine City

there was more than a cool whip container worth of Dog Food in it1 Do you have any idea how many trips that rodent had to have made up and down this hallway to put that much in there OMG!

Clint says it's been getting stored up for many months then i told him when I brought that bag back here, so now he say s no way a MOUSE did it.. had to be something bigger!

Do you have to pay a fee to receive it?

Do you remember the reveal DSS package, for me to send it through my work it was like $75 at the post office it was only $15

When customers want to send to Australia, I have to go through customs questions, 1 thing I remember for sure is we can not ship hair care products! LOL
But I always wonder about the 'card making stuff'
I've never had it opened before. I imagine it must go through some sort of customs check but have no idea what it is. No fee to receive it if it is postal or delivered by someone else, but it costs me more to have it couriered, which I have never done, rather than be posted.

I bet you have more than one critter and they lined up and passed the food from one to another - that would mean less trips. Or... they filled up a shoe, dragged it to the bag and then unloaded the shoe. Really surprised that your "boys" didn't alert you to the rodent shenanigans.

NO!

I still have presents to wrap - but only 7 left. Plus I have to work all day on Thursday.

I have food to prep on Thursday night for Friday. I'm trying a new mashed potato recipe that I can make Thursday night and just pop the insert back into the crockpot to warm up on Friday. Also making a new dessert too. It's made with Oreo cookies, mint ice cream, fudge topping and cool whip.

Well, the sun was out, but now it's all cloudy again.

I don't feel like working. Not at all. I have a yucky project on my desk, and I have a not so yucky project on my desk. I am forcing myself to do the yucky one first. That way it's over, and I can move on to things that are easier to figure out.

Only tomorrow to work yet, and then a three day weekend! Yeah. I am working part time hours next week. Then another three day weekend, and then all crazy tax season fun starts. Whoopie! I'm trying to get psyched about it!

Finally is my desk. It's a disaster. It always has been and it always will be. Please do not mess up my mess. I know pretty much right where everything is.

I see I cut off the printer stand and my cork board full of cards I love! Shoot. Well, maybe another day!

the room looks awesome Laurie!
