that certainly explains why I have more migraines in the summer.

But thank fully I have not had one that bad since, I am very careful about the foods I eat, and those florescent lights if the flicker, I get one, so even in Walmart if a light is being odd I get away from it.
Those Halogen Headlights and fog lights are evil too! Oh and when an emergency vehicle is coming there is little light above street lights that about kills me!
what foods trigger yours? Hopefully it's not what I have in the oven for supper.

She is staying home alot, getting others to run her errands. With my DD living next door and my DGS having his license, she has a couple of sources for grocery runs. Makes it nice for her that way. Hope I can get those two to help me out in February, March & April. Lord knows my DH won't be sympathetic to my post-op healing.

i browned diced chicken breast then added diced carrots and broccoli to get them hot

I know only Barb lives close by, but.....

FREE NIGHTLY CONCERTS in my back yard. Dress warm and come after dark...presented by my local coyote pack. They are singing their little hearts out the past few nights!

I'm so glad the DNR gives a hoot!

Holly ...you are one TALENTED chicky!!! Thank you so much. I admire you so much..I could never get sewing right...always was a tangled mess. Thank you so much. I did see you posted your chocolate bars..but yours were wayyy sweeter than mine with the buttons! I can't remember where I saw them first but it was someone here at SCS that gave me the idea.
Dept 56 houses...I will take a picture and post here for you Kerriann. My family always loved the story "A christmas carol" so I collect the "christmas carol" houses. They are the only thing up that is festive at the moment. Katie doesn't want u sto put up the tree till she's how from college. I totally understand...but...next year I'm putting up the tree and hanging up the lights. I am having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit here. Kerriann..you helped me along. Now my den looks kinda cute an sweet with the fireplace and houses.

Your room is looking great. I can't wait until I can move out of the dining room into Sheridon's room. Should stop DH whinging about my mess and then I can have all my treasures together. Just don't want to do it to soon in case she comes back, or she feels like I am kicking her out.,

yes, I've been having some hip pain - both sides. When it started keeping me up at night I went to MD - I have significant bone spurring on both hips and little or now cartiledge left. So ... in February I'm having my left hip replaced. I'll be off work a good 8wks or longer. Hoping I heal fast, but I'm not pushing it this time. A year ago I had bone spurs taken off both my heels. I went back to work too soon and I'm still paying for that. I caught MRSA at work and was on antibiotics for 3 months. Not going to happen this time. Then at some point in the future I will have to have the right hip done.

Hips hurt alot tonight with this rotten cold weather. I don't like take pain meds, but with the way I feel tonight I think I will be taking them during the day as well as at night to sleep.

OMG that is too funny. I made the same thing. I used leftover turkey, leftover gravy (no soup); frozen mixed veggies. Mixed together in baking dish; baked until hot & bubbly and dropped bisquick biscuits onto the top and baked. It was a good night to have the oven on.

With the house closed up I cannot hear them, but I sure can when I take Chey out. She isn't allowed to go outside by herself with them around. It does sound cool though!

I'm glad you like the card Karen!

Holly, the throw goes PERFECT with the futon! LOVE IT!

Vikki, is the car running so you can go to work tomorrow? It's currently 1 degree above here and the wind chill is also at 1 since the winds have finally calmed down! Our driveway is a sheet of ice from the rain we had Saturday night that turned into ice and then got snowed on. It's too cold for salt to work, and we don't have any calcium chloride. UGH! Oh well. Hopefully it will warm up a bit and melt off.

I am almost done loading my ink rack. My Rich Razzleberry ink pad has vanished. I need to rearrange my stamps. I don't like how I have them in their bookcase, and I have a stack I haven't even done anything with. I like to scan the sticker sheet and then label the side of the box that faces out of my bookcase. It is nice to have the ink and reinkers organized though.

We had leftover ham, carrots and baked potatoes. Tomorrow I think we are having tacos.

One of these nights (I'm thinking tomorrow) I need to go to Walmart and return Mom's gift. She wants money toward a Garmin because she gets lost so much.

Holly...THANK YOU for the super cute gift! LOVE it!!!

Hope I can get those two to help me out in February, March & April. Lord knows my DH won't be sympathetic to my post-op healing.
I can't imagine Clint not being sympathetic
my fingers and toes hurt today when i got back home and he has asked me all day how they are.
ANd when I tried to cut off my foot, he treated me like I was fragile! LOL
