Default Needing advice

Hi!

I'm not sure if this is where I should post this but I do really need some advice.

See I started selling for Close To My Heart and I love it. The bad thing is I'm my only customer.

I started a meetup.com group to see if I could teach but no one seems interested in taking my classes.

Part of why I started the group was because I love to teach. I had previously been posting my classes on another person's, a SU! Demo, meetup.com group. But she told me she couldn't post them for me anymore. So she told me to start my own meetup.com group.

The thing is I have a few members of my group. I just haven't met them yet. As they haven't signed up to attend any of my classes.

Currently, I'm offering my classes in the afternoon on Saturdays because that's the day that works best for me.

The reason I started selling Close to My Heart is because I love the products and I love to teach. But the other reason was that at the time I signed up for it I was working with my fertility doctor who had told me I'd be able to do natural child birth. Now it's been found out that, that's not possible.

I trusted my doctor and let her perform surgery on me. Which she had said would only take me out of work for a month tops. Well, three months went by and I couldn't get out of bed because the pain was so bad. That was a couple of months ago, actually almost a year in August.

The other thing that's been getting to me is the person who told me to start my own meetup.com group because she couldn't post my classes anymore, even though it's her group. She's been flaky for a long time.

When ever I go to her classes she's never prepared. Fortunately she has a meal provided so usually I just start there. And lately she's canceled her classes for the past two months. Also now she says that I owe her three months of stamp club orders.

I just don't understand. I've sent her my orders and she has my CC on file. It's not my fault she didn't place the order. Plus, I always make sure for my classes that I schedule I always have everything ready to go before anyone arrives. Right now the only person who attends is my Upline.

It's just frustrating. Sorry to ramble on.

Wow, Mary. Seems like you have a plate full. It is hard to get your business going, unfortunately. I think it you just keep at it it will take off. Your love of the product and stamping will be infectious! Good luck!

I just want to address your SU friend....... this is the reason these "clubs" annoy me. You should NEVER allow someone to have your credit card on file unless it is your mail order pharmacy. These "club contracts" are nothing more than pressuring you to buy every month. As much as this woman has flaked on you, I would insist she give you your credit card number back, tell her you will not be ordering anything, and move on.

i'm sorry you've had such a hard time. i agree you shouldn't give up just yet. you may have to try times other than Saturdays, though. That can be a crazy-busy evening for folks, especially those with children. Maybe a week night instead?

And I agree, I wouldn't be part of this person's "club" anymore.

Hope things get better and that you are feeling healthy!

Thank you for all the advice.

I'm thinking I'll just have to stop being part of the club.

Right now I'm waiting to find out some test results for lab tests my doctor had me take Friday. The doctors office called Monday and set up an appointment for Wednesday.

So far I know we were worried about my thyroid and I think from the message I got from the office there's probably something up with vitamin D

Do you have anyone in your area that Sells CTMH? That you might join up with and do card classes with.

Charging for the card classes. with a option to buy from the catalog.

Do 5 cards and Charge $10 to $15 per person. Both of you could teach classes. You teach 1 week and they teach another week.

As for Meet up. Most people who go on there are looking to meet new friend
