want a new camera so bad!

pretty much told andrew to get it for me for mother's day/anniversary!

but what do I want?

keep thinking canon rebel but afraid of learning curve I just want to take awesome pictures without having to spend 20 minutes editing each one!

I need fast press to capture and to be able to zoom cause of sports and programs

suggestions?

We're working on getting laundry sorted, I'm sneezing too much to be running a sewing machine at the moment, but will get to that soon. At least those dresses don't take too long to whip together.

We have a canon rebel, but I don't shoot raw either because well, it takes a lot of space and I'm not versed in editing........... yet.

Yes, they are made from t-shirts from the $ store. The older girls dresses cost me $6 in material to make... $2/dress .

They are, the girls love them! I might take Brooklyn's apart and resew the bottom to the top, since I've figured out a good way to do it!

Not at all, just make sure that your tension isn't too tight. The first dress I had an issue sewing the gathered part to the top, but that was due to the fact that I tried to follow what the blogger did, and it did NOT work. By the time I got to Emberlyn's dress, I had it figured out and it worked much better, but besides that, I haven't had any issue sewing it.

with that one, the camera itself does not autofocus, you have to buy the lens that do. they do cost a bit more, but not a lot. of course if you don't mind doing the focus with your hand, not a big deal. but it's a good camera!

the lens that comes with it will auto focus itself.

Well, caught a few good winks on the couch, kids woke me a few times, but it was good sleep I was that tired. Woke-up and Stevo and me ran to WM, felt like we were there forever, got us a Kentucky ham of course Some last minute things for Easter and dh some stuff he requested for work. Was a pretty decent trip since I had Steven who is so good when we are out.

Dh did inform me, that Ryker was being quiet and he went to see what he was into and the door was open and the garage door was open, yup my child snuck out of the house on dh and to top it off he didn't have undies or pants on just a shirt I said I normally pray for their safety when they are away from me and I didn't this time and look what happened. Just glad dh realized he was gone, who knows how long he was out there. I said just great, that makes a good impression on the neighborhood.

I think on Monday the laptop that we just replaced the hard drive in, wouldn't hold charge. So I started doing some research and it was either the cord or the motherboard. So Ryan called Dell and they gave a run around about it, then decided that they were going to send a service repair man here. He came on Thursday around 12:30. Replaced the cord and voila! It's fixed. His order was to replace the mother board, but didn't need to. When he called Dell about it, he said that we needed a new keyboard because ours has a missing Windows key (has had that for at least 2 yrs?). So they ordered one. They shipped the darn thing over night and it got here by Friday late morning. Crazy.

Well, finally got to bed at 12:30 got the baskets all done and set them on the mantle so the kids wouldn't be able to reach them. I was wondering how long it would take for them to notice them. Ryker woke me up at 6 something wet, so changed him and then I hear something and go check on Steven and he was up for the morning, so I laid on couch and crashed. I woke up hearing Ryker up and he was watching a movie in his room so I laid back on couch I was so tired. Finally got up, got up got Ryker bathed and myself. Got Steven showered and everyone fed and dressed, did baskets and I have food going now. Should be done in 18 minutes.

Our kids didn't get much candy, I planned it that way.

Logan got a U of M sweat shirt, some fishing lures, sunglasses, marbles, search word puzzle book, homemade pb egg, homemade mounds candy, a rice crispy bunny and a solid chocolate bunny.

Ashlynn got a reusable cup with straw, search word puzzle book, sunglasses, $10 gift cert. to the used book store (she's been wanting to go there forever), the same candy as Logan and lip gloss.

Brooklyn got the same as Ashlynn.

Emberlyn got the same candy as the older ones, a reusable cup, sunglasses, 2 books, coloring book, crayons, necklaces, a "beauty" kit and a puzzle.

Tiergan got the same candy, reusable cup, sunglasses, new swim trunks with matching shirt and flip flops, dinosaurs, crayons, coloring book, 2 board books.

Ivelynn got a pink rubber duck, 3 board books and a new swim suit (this one - Walmart.com: Op - Baby Girls' Tutu Ballernia Swimsuit: Clothing).

Then there were about 3 dozen eggs for them to find.

Surprisingly, there were NO complaints from them.

We just finished our dinner (ham, gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, dressing and sweet potatoes).

We did have a reusable cup for Logan, but I noticed a HUGE crack in it last night so Ryan's got to exchange it.

Bummer on cracked cup :/ cute swimsuit

Yeah, I planned less candy, they've eaten most and whatever they threw on floor I swept up and tossed out. I am glad I didn't buy a lot of candy either this year.

i would like to say "we" did not go overboard with candy, but "dh" did! i will say that we typically buy her candy that "we" (all included) like as well! but she got easter baskets from my brother, inlaws, and my parents in seattle and then my mom here. too.much.stuff.

On Saturday we acquired some new farm animals. Two cute little ducklings and two French angora rabbits. Because we just can't quit the crazy!

The ducklings may or may not be staying with us for good. We'll raise them and see how it goes. If it fails, back to Farmer Scott they go.

The angoras are for spinning yarn! Yippee! I just need a wheel now. If I stopped going to Target for a few months, I could absolutely get one. Hate that evil place that makes me feel I "need" so much (it's a love/hate thing)

I really need a little farm. Hopefully one day!

Morning! Amelia had banana this morning. Loved it. Had to give her something, she was trying to steal Jeff's Passover muffin, which is mostly nuts.

Sheesh all teary-eyed watching good morning america. They had people nominate people who deserve recognition for things and one mom nominated a boy who took her down syndrome daughter to prom, so touching just had me crying. Glad there are big hearted people out there!

I have this bug now and all the kids are home for me to take care of. I can barely get out of bed, feeling so weak, have a fever, and such terrible stomach cramps that I can't even stand up right. So, they get to watch TV today since there's no one here to help me out .
