Default Any crafty youth workers?

I'm toying with the idea of doing an organised ATC swap between different youth groups worldwide so each group would make a specific amount then we'd send them together in a parcel to another group for a swap and they'd be posted direct to the group and not to the kids home address so providing safeguards etc

ANyone involved in youth work fancy something like that?

When I taught kindergarten we had breezy the bear. Breezy went home with each child one night and they had to write about their adventure with our bear and of course they had to draw a picture and tell us about what they did. I always wanted to get breezy to travel to other schools and then return to us. The kids also had a disposable camera where they took a photo of their activity they wrote about with him. I did a scrapbook with those photos but if he travelled I think that each class should pick out a couple of activities and scrapbook some pages.

I never got to put this into play as I can no longer teach- I have gone blind in one eye and partial vision in the other but I thought it reminded me of the card swap

Default ATC event

OUr local library hosted an ATC swap for the whole elementary school. I think about 500 participated. I cut the ATCs cause I have an Accucut die that cuts 9 at a time with my Accucut Grande Mark. Each child did two and then they were all on display at the library. It was amazing to see all of the work these kids did and so many different ways of decorating their atcs.

They worked on their ATCs in Art class @ school.
good idea for any art teacher, they could be displayed at OPEN HOUSE.
