*THIS FORUM IS FOR DOWNLOADS**PLEASE POST QUESTIONS IN GENERAL OR TECHNIQUES***
This area is for uploading and downloading files of techniques, tips and general stamping information. Business related files should be posted in the Demo resource area.
For Readers in this area: Remember that you are more likely to get a response to a question by posing it in the appropriate general forum or by a PM to the author. Please feel free to add any corrections and/or additions to a download as a comment. If the appropriate author has not been acknowledged, please let us know as well. If you have trouble reading a file, first try right clicking and chose the option Save Target As. Some files uploaded before the system upgrade may still be unreadable.
For Posters in this area: Please remember to upload your information as a file. Below the text box, there is an option to add an attachment. If you click on that, you will be able to browse your computer for the file to upload. If you have your information in more than one format, go ahead and upload both. You will need to put something in the text box. I suggest repeating the title and/or a short description of the file. Please remember to acknowedge the author of any file that you upload.
If you have any comments or suggestions to improve this area, please respond to this thread or give me a PM.
I hope this area will be useful for your stamping projects!
OK, I know this is a crabby request but I've just got to open my big mouth and ask it. Could we please have a rule in this section that the only thread allowed are the ones created by posting a resource? Here is my reason for asking: Right now there is a thread started by someone looking for a hat template. That's a legitimate request and I feel for the person who hasn't been able to find it but.. I worry that if this section bogs down with a lot of request threads it will become difficult to come here and search through all files of downloadable items. Right now it is like a craft book index and that is REALLY nice. Anywho.. my request is that when a "where can I find it" thread gets started that the moderator moves it to the "Techniques & Templates" section.
Thank you for listening.
Kim, this is something that needs to be in your "read me first" thread. I've noticed that many people have trouble opening the attachments, whether they be PDF's or Docs, something most people have on their computers. They can't open it and ask that it be e-mailed to them. I had the same trouble, but saw on the Explosion Card thread that LSN wrote: "Becky, have you tried right clicking and then selecting the 'save target as' option on your computer? That's what worked for me!" I knew it before, but forgot. Now, I think I've got it. Maybe. As for excel, I have my hubby open them and print them for me as I don't speak excel. LOL
I just want to say a big thank you to all who have contributed to this forum. I'm a new demonstrator, so all the wonderful tips and ideas that I've downloaded from this forum will keep me busy and creative for a long time. Everybody's generosity is greatly appreciated by newcomers like me.
my thread needs to be moved... I hope you can move it. I asked a question about codes for fonts on teh computer. SORRY.. i didnt mean to post in the worng forum

Hello, I am fairly new to this whole world of stamping and this website. I come on everyday to check out the latest cards created and when I do that, I usually hit gallery and then click on view last 7 days. I posted my card on the A-B forum but I would like to post my card on the thread where I just click on view last 7 days, I don't know if this makes any sense but if you do understand can you please help and let me know how to do this?
Does anybody know how to download your favorite cards from Splitcoasters? I tried to add them to my Favorites but I am not quite sure how to do that. I do not have Winzip. I have downloaded some of the cards to one of my programs on my computer but I was wondering what people mean when they say that they are casing particular cards?
I have a quick question. Someone on SCS once posted a free program where once downloaded I could use it to view all of the nice excel files here. I can't work on them but at least I can see the file.
Does anyone have any idea what the name of that program was? My harddrive crashed and now I have to start all over.
Thank you for any help!!
'belle

Dear Kim,
I am new to uploading and posting in forums, so please forgive me if this doesn't make much sense. I uploaded a few projects this evening, and have noticed that several hours later the image is still pending approval. Other uploads around mine have already been approved. Have I done something wrong? Please let me know so I don't make the same mistake again. Thank you very much for your time.
Sheri
I posted a chart of matching SU stamp sets to computer fonts in a believe a general stamping forum in a reply to a discussion. Maybe I should have posted it in downloads. Sorry but this is all new to me. - Pat

Go ahead and post it here too - under charts. Then it will be easy to find after the general thread is buried. Thanks for sharing!
Can anyone help? I am looking for a template that is referred to in the gallery. The template is called "LauraLynn's Onesie". Does anyone know where I might find this download.
Thanks,
Danique
This is the template I used for my Three for You Punchbox dress. It orignally came from Paper Crafts magazine and I reduced it a bit so it would make a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card. Start with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock and scroe it at 5 1/2". Fold your card. Cut out the dress template and lay it on top of your cardstock so the fold is at the top. Trace around the pattern and cut it out. Please note that the bottom of the template reads 4 1/4". I think it was cut off.
I hope this works as I'm new to splitcoast stampers and terrible with computers.
I'm getting ready to upload a card for the first time (a virgin!), but I'd like to add my name in 'shadow' like I see on so many cards. Can someone tell me how to do that or where to get directions?

Do a SEARCH for watermark. There are lots of threads discussing this.
Hi Kim,
I am looking for a download that I used when I was new to Splitcoaststampers and it was 8 to 10 pages, or so, of bacis card layouts. I am now teaching a class and would like to share this tool with them, but have been searching all aspects of this wonderful site, looking for this particular item. Is it still available and if so, where is it?
I have some new stampers that this download would be perfect for.
Thanks for your help,
Linda
