Help me to find Digital Stamping 101

I am barely computer literate. But one of the New Years resolutions I made was to learn how to make use of digital stamps. OK, it was my resolution for 2012. But since it is a good one, I have decided to use that resolution again. I have downloaded several free digis and they are somewhere on my computer. I need to get them organized and figure out all the tricks to using them. Can anyone direct me???? Any great tutorials or sites with good directions?????

Instead of Digital Stamping 101, I need Digital Stamping 050. I need some direction in taking something I download (I think I know how to download) and positioning it to print. I have not even started this aspect of stamping.

I guess the first thing is Where do I put the image on my computer?

What are your favorite free download sites? I think I should start with free, since I don't even know if I will be able to figure it out.
