Smile Do any of you recolor the colored images?

What I mean is, do you print the image out colored, and then go over it with your own colored pencils and markers to deepen the colors and add shading?

I haven't purchased colored ones, but would be a great idea to make it your own if you can.

I hadn't thought of that and I think it would be cool to see how it turns out. I have used the coloured images as a guide when colouring the images myself though.

I know many will think this "crazy", but I often find clip art that I really like and want to use for a digital stamped image. I open the file/object in PSE, erase the color/patterns, leaving the lines. Then I print out the image and color it myself...my way! Sure it takes time, but I enjoy doing it and once you have done a few, it gets less time consuming. There is something satisfying to me to "un-color" as well as to color!

I love the Dustin Pike digital images (both colored and not). The colors he uses are pretty intense but I do add shading myself, and sometimes a bit of clear embossing power to highlight an area etc. It does make a difference and I think it personalizes the card a bit more than just a print and paste.
