Hello! new to the digi world of stamps. Like it but I can't seem to resize and get a crisp image on my cardstock. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have Microsoft office 2007
Hello! new to the digi world of stamps. Like it but I can't seem to resize and get a crisp image on my cardstock. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have Microsoft office 2007. Thanks! Jenn
I think you may be saving the thumb nail sized digi instead of the full size. If you see a free digi, try double clicking on it to see if it enlarges. Then right click and save as a jpg. Lastly, open a blank document in Word (or some word procssing program) then insert the image. It should insert itself as a huge (full page) picture. You can resize the pic by clicking once on it, then dragging a corner to make it smaller.
Hope this helps. If not PM me with a question or two and I'll see what else I can do to help.

Usually, when resizing pictures, or digis, you get a better result if you go a size down instead of a size up. It stretches the pixels when you enlarge and makes it fuzzy. There may be other tricks I don't know about, but that has been my experience.

ok so tried to see if I am saving as Thumbnail, dont think I am. I just go to save picture as, then save to desktop and in a folder after that. the pics are from Sliekje digi Stamps they are free digi images. maybe you can try and see how it works for you? I also emailed the creator.
Thanks again for the help!
I've downloaded Sliekje's digis before. You need to click once on the image to open it up full size first and then save it to your hard drive. I think you may be saving the thumbnail of the image rather than the full size jpg. I've never had a problem with any of her images being fuzzy.
A lot of what your image prints out like is due to the image itself. Clip art is not made to be re-sized and retain it's crispness so if you are using clip art that could be your problem. Also not all digital stamp companies are the same - the jpgs images do not retain the crispness as well as the png images do if you are enlarging a lot. I have several videos on you tube that tell you a lot about working with digital images - I've been almost exclusively using digis for two years now and do know a lot about them. My most basic digi image video is here if you're interested YouTube - How To Download, Re-size, and Print Digital Stamps
Feel free to ask me anything you need to know about digis!
Wow! So chock full of information! thanks!!! I will check out the video. What is the PNG image though? You say its more easily resized? Not sure I understand

Thank you so much! I think I was saving the thumbnail image also, so I went back and redownloaded at the larger size. So far I've printed them all really small; guess that's why I hadn't noticed. I just love Sliekje's digis. They are all adorable! That is so kind and generous of her to share her talents with the world like that. Have you seen her blog of her paintings? AMAZING! And she has some adorable kitties on her cat blog too. Thank you for your help! I am learning so much here! :-D
