This week, Id like you to add some doodles and buttons to your pages. If you dont have any in your digi stash, you should be able to find some freebies by doing an internet search for buttons and/or doodle and freebie. Any kind of doodle(s) will be OKI used a doodle frame for my photos on my sample. Besides the buttons on the left, I also added a scallop effect behind the bottom right photo using buttons.
And for a little extra punchuse a pre-made alpha, or jazz up a font and use it for your title.
So, the challenge this week is: Use buttons and doodle(s) on your page and use a pre-designed alpha or font for your title.
If you have questions, you can post them here or PM me.
You can view all submissions for this challenge here: DGC045
To add your page to this gallery, just add DGC045 to your keywords. Also, please take a minute to post a link on this thread so we wont miss seeing your work!
Have a great week! I look forward to seeing your layouts. -------------------------------------------
Well, it turned out great, Candy! The tutorial looks involved, but I'll take your word for it that it's simple!! I need to read it in full so I get the technique down! Thanks for playing and going that extra mile to make your own doodle!!!
I am new to posting here and I am really hooked on digi scrapping so thought I would try to do these challenges each week. Here is my page for this week.
Thanks for looking!

Wow Candy. That tutorial was a great find. I'll have to play with it since I don't really "do" doodling. Here is my layout.. Motorcycles
I even have a hard time using buttons..just seems kind of girly and I don't usually do things like that. My doodling consists of the image underneath the swirly text path. And I did use the Planet Benson font from PSE. I like that font. Almost looks like something you'd see in a comic book.
Here is my page for the challenge - late, I know.
I had recently found the alphas (actually because Terry asked about how one would use them) and thought this poem would make perfect use of them for a title. I like the contrast of using buttons and that doodle rather than traditional sea items. Eternity by AnniePanda at Splitcoaststampers
