Hi Everyone, I'm Nichole :p A little bit about me: I'm a single, full time working mom to 2 little girls ages 5 and (soon to be) 9. I started digital scrap booking when I got divorced and had no more room for traditional; and now I love both! I typically digi scrap instead of sleeping (like now) or on the weekends.
While flipping/clicking through some sites I found a monochromatic traditional layout and I loved it. I took that idea and made a monochromatic digital layout using a color from my photo: white. So, here is your challenge: find a photo(s) that you love and draw out a color using that as your basis for your layout. Everything is to be that color, text (play with text style/height to make it work), embellishments, stamps, etc. and add a shadow to make it stand out. Play with the opacity of the shadows to get depth. Use the keyword when posting your layouts: DGSC074
I have some great water pics, so will try this out tonight using BLUE and perhaps different shades of the blue versus all the same exact type. Thanks for the fun challenge
here's the one i did for today and heres one i did several months ago, that fits this challenge perfectly.
i get so weirded out thinking i have to follow rules to the letter and sometimes it paralyzes me. i just had to add the tiniest bit of color to the one i did today, otherwise i hated it. so please dont kick me out!
