Talking DGSC103 – Still Using Stamp Brushes - 3/5/2013

DGSC103 – Still Using Stamp Brushes - 3/5/2013
________________________________________

If you take a wander through my gallery and you will see that I love to use stamp brushes on my digital pages. I especially love that I can make the image any size I want to compliment my design. SVG images will stretch to any size without pixilating and blurring! This week I'm challenging you to create a page that uses AT LEAST TWO of the following FOUR things:

1. STAMP BRUSHES - try using a larger image as your background, or use an overlay that will change the texture and depth of your page.
2. USE PUNCHES - filled with great designer paper, photos or just colour - use some of those awesome punches you've been collecting!
3. USE A GREAT SENTIMENT AS A TITLE - I know SU has super sentiments, but I know other companies have some great sentiments as well. Choose one that tells the story in your photos - or make up your own!
4. AN EMBELLISHMENT YOU OFTEN FORGET YOU HAVE - I chose digital tape for my page, what have you got hiding in your digital stash??

I made two pages recently using these techniques, and they remind me that sometimes very simple techniques can make an incredibly effective page! Don’t forget your journaling!

Remember that although this is a challenge designed for Digital scrapbookers, ALL are welcome to adapt the challenge to fit whatever your scrapbooking preference is - traditional, digital or hybrid!!

Have a great week! I look forward to seeing your layouts.

Love both your pages, Terri! This is a fun-sounding challenge--I'll try to do a page this week. I'm so far behind on the challenges, I think I'm first!

I'm way behind too Wendy! I'm at least three months behind on progressive challenges, and other digital and regular challenges too. I will catch up someday I'm sure, there's been lots of great ones posted lately!
