I was feeling pretty burnt out last week and didn't much feel like stamping but this weekend is VSN here at SCS and since hubby is away with our oldest son for a Hunter's Safety Course I am taking a break from all the work for some stampy fun .
I made 5 cards last night and 1 already this morning and I am having a blast!! I can't wait to see what the rest of the challenges are today.
Depending on how things go with Hurricane Irene, I may be stamping all day tomorrow, too ;).
BTW, prayers are continually being said for all those in Irene's path. Stay safe, East Coasters!!

wow, that does sound like fun, enjoy your time!! I am hoping for one of those "stampy days" myself, maybe when my girls go back to school in a couple weeks. Hope I remember how to stamp lol.
Sounds dreamy to me, Korin! I have a pretty packed day today, so I don't foresee much stamping getting done, but tomorrow is another story . I envy those who can stamp all day! And I don't think I've made five cards in one day, ever..LOL
Hey Janette! I notice you're in Buffalo. We moved from Orchard Park to Colorado just a couple years ago. Although I adore where we're living now, I sure do miss the people of Western New York!!
Well, here in NH we lost power for a short time, had lots of rain and winds but are relatively unscathed. I did get some stamping time in after the power came on though. Janette and Toy, I went to school in western NY... Houghton College. Do you know it?

Glad all is ok, Holly. I definitely know Houghton College! Sits back amongst the trees off Union Road. I lived just a wee bit south of there in Orchard Park. Houghton is a Christian college, right?

Small world, huh?
I think that must be the Buffalo Campus. The main campus is about an hour south in Houghton, NY. Yes, it is a christian college.

I went to SUNY Brockport for my Masters Degree and during that year I taught at the Batavia School for the Blind, Rochester School for the Deaf and several other special ed schools. Luckily I finished and left before that huge snowstorm in 1976-77
