8/18 Friends

I was sitting here and thinking, I feel so blessed by the friends that the Lord has put in my life. I was talking with a friend tonight that is concerned about her neighbor losing their home. To have friends that are concerned about others and their spiritual welfare means so much. I'm thankful that she thought enough of me to ask me to pray with her about her neighbor and how she can be a blessing to this family in need.

I'm thankful that the Lord gave us friends that are there to hear our hurts, concerns, triumphs and share laughter with. I'm also thankful that many of us are friends because of the "hobby" we share!

I read a quote today on a magnet that I think would be a great stamp:

Blessed are they who have the gift of making friends for it is one of God�s best gifts!

Love that quote, Sandy! It's amazing how the Lord puts just the right people in our lives to help us in times of difficulty! Friends are truly one of God's wonderful blessings!

I am also very thankful for friends....I live out in the boonies and honestly most of my friends are online (love you guys!!!) but I do have a few local friends from church who are a huge blessing to me. I am so thankful one of them came over to help me cut, wind, and package twine yesterday . Her help and friendship is a blessing.

I love that God puts people in our lives just when we need them....people he can use to show His love to us right here on earth. He is so good to us!

I also am so thankful for friends. I have a few really close and caring, kind friends which are like family to me. I feel very blessed - to have one really good friend like that is not so common but to have a few is more than I'd ever imagine!

I can echo what you all have said - I lived in quite a few places in my life and in every single place God has given me the best friends imaginable, ones I can be completely myself with, and I sure don't take it for granted, particularly as I live far away from all of my family! And of course, I've met some wonderful stamping, blogging friends here too!!
