Morning All! WOW ... I was hoping our attendance would pick up a bit now that the kiddo's are back in school ... we may have to have a 'pow wow' about what we can do to get our numbers up! Think about it!
Anyways ... yep, you guessed it! Today, we are going to reduce the size of that MOUNTAIN OF SCRAPS we all have in our work areas. Our challenge today is to use ANY CRAFTY SECRETS / HEARTWARMING VINTAGE PRODUCTS ALONG WITH OUR SCRAPS. Whether that is PAPER, STICKERS, ... whatever!
I look forward to seeing your creations! Have fun with it! I'll be back to check out all the inspirational works of art a little later! Have a GREAT DAY!!
Dar, Thanks for being the hostess with the mostest this week I am trying to get a few more people involved with the CS challenges and sent some Creative Scraps to a friend in Germany. It's my hope that she will play along. I've also given away the "Creating with Vintage Patterns" CD on my blog and hoped that the winner would play along...hmmm..will keep trying cause they are always so much fun and the gals here are all talented!
I'm just absolutely mobbed out with work at the moment - I've barely had chance to get inky at all for a couple of weeks now Still making time to see what everyone else is making in the CSSC challenges though, thanks for hosting this week Dar!
Maybe Sandy would throw some of the small size stamps our way as a give away for a grand prize winner if they played along with the challenge (using Crafty Secrets products of course). Would it be appropriate to invite stampers to join us if we see they use Crafty Secrets, like in a comment of their card. Just a couple of thoughts. Now to my scrap box to see what tasty little leftovers I can find to play along today. See you later.
Elizabeth
I keep ALL of my paper scraps so this is a great challenge for me, Darlene. I thought this was where you were going, but my "Mo-jo" left me last night! This will give me something to think about at work today. Hopefully, I can play along tonight!
I've been adjusting to a new work schedule and helping out a friend who's sick. Things are beginning to settle into a routine again, though. I'm heading to the craft room now to get started on my card!

Valerie...SO excited that you are joining in this weeks challenge! YIPEE! Your photo isn't showing up, so if you'll go back and edit it and tag your card with CSSC189, it should show in the gallery. Each week the number changes, so next week it will be CSSC190 CAN'T wait to see your card!
Hi Jan, I have edited the pics, hope you can see them now. I put them into my gallery, don't know if that was right? Still trying to find my way around, I never was good at geography! Valerie
The road is paved with good intentions. I tried to get to this on Wednesday and as you can see that didn't happen. I play 3 challenges a week and just my luck, they are all on Tuesday. I always start with Teapot Tuesday as that usually involves sending our cards out to someone who is not well so I have to get it completed and out the door. Then I carry on with my other challenges usually a day or two late. Anyway here I am with my card "Trick or Treat"
Well, this was like getting blood out of a stone and I'm still not happy with the result but it's as good as it's going to get, I suspect! Time is not on my side this week!
Elizabeth, thanks for the gallery comment - you are very kind!
The leaves are stamps from the same set as the sentiment (Sweet Kids). There are teeny, tiny accent stamps in the set (flowers, leaves, snowflakes, hearts) - I used the two leaf stamps which are slightly different to each other which is nice as it lends a more natural look if you use both together. I just added a bit of colour with Copics.
