I thought some of you may have time off today so I'm posting the challenge early. This week we are using our beloved buttons along with at least one crafty secret product. Buttons are the perfect little touch to finish any project.

OH great idea Lori! Both early post and challenge idea! I'll get busy!!
Hubby is on a THREE WEEK VACATION and he has me doing all sorts of other stuff! Uuugh ... I'll be crafting in between what he wants to do throughout Sept! Yikes ... guess this is what his retirement is going to be like! LOL! At least that's what he said when I ask him what he wanted to do for his vacation ... he said 'practice for retirement in April!'
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Catch you later!

In between waiting for one of my layers to dry I read your comment. My husband Ron won't retire for about 4 - 5 years and it scares me half to death. I have my music and crafting and he has NOTHING. I keep trying to suggest hobbies but I think his plan is to hang out with me. While I think this is sweet I already have 2 great activities and I'm trying to find him a hobby to occupy him alone. He is an avid reader and plays the odd game of golf but I think either he will be bored out of his mind or drive me crazy. One of the ladies that plays every week over at the Teapot challenge has her husband colour all her cards!!! That wouldn't work so well at this house. Happy crafting.
Oh my gosh ... I can imagine the response if I'd ask Mark to 'color my images' LOL~!!
Yes, I have the same problem ... Mark doesn't have any hobbies either (other than being a couch potato) ... but I must say he does like to travel and do projects around the house so I guess I'll just have to see how much crafting I can fit in when the time comes!
On a final note ... I must say ... after watching him go through cancer & a stem cell transplant a couple years ago ... I'm just really glad he's still here and able to get under my feet! That really puts things into perspective and as much as I love my crafting ... I love him more and so glad he's here to 'DRIVE ME CRAZY' !! LOL!!
What a fun challenge and I always like digging through my button jar
I've used "Creating With Vintage Patterns" CD, Let's Hang Out and Artsy Banners Clear Stamps and Domestic Goddess Creative Scraps. HERE'S MINE
Fun challenge, Lori! I'll mull over it in my sleep tonight.
*Following our off-topic conversation - my hubby has too many hobbies already, so he'll have no trouble keeping busy in retirement. Now, if we could just find him a full-time job that he could retire from some day, then we would be in good shape. At this rate, we'll both be working well into our eighties.

I just love the smell of Stazon in the morning!
I guess I "cheated" a little and saw your card in the gallery Saturday. I hoped to get started, but hubby had other ideas today! I have tons of buttons so I hope to play along this week.

I hope to play along, my camera is acting up will probably need to buy another one. Sooo between the camera and packing to go to N.Y. on Sat. I may not get to play this wk. I will check back in when I return. See you all soon.
My order arrived last week and I could hardly wait to ink up the bee set. For a small set it sure packs a lot of options. I love all the new sets, but I can see this is going to bee one of my favourites. Here is my "The Bees Knees"

Sssshhhh ... don't tell Mark! But while he was upstairs online checking out new shutters for the house ... I snuck down to my cave and created today's card! What a fun time ... thanks Lori!!
