Welcome to this week's Crafty Secrets challenge! This week we are doing a color challenge inspired by all of those yummy summer treats that we indulge in on picnics, at the beach, at BBQs & family reunions, sometimes they don't even make it out of the garden before we just have to have a taste!
For your inspiration, just think of the rainbow of colors that adorn our tables in the summertime: red strawberries, orange dreamsicles (yum!), yellow lemonade, lots of green - zucchini, broccoli, asparagus, green beans, sweet peas, blueberry pie, purple grapes & eggplant. That should get your creative juices flowing, and if you need to jumpstart your mojo - just grab a snack!
Don't forget to use the keywords, CSSC178 & craftysecrets when you upload your project. Then be sure to post to this thread, so we can admire your work. Most of all, have fun!

I just love the smell of Stazon in the morning!
Oooh, I was on the right track with the clues but not thinking broadly enough - great challenge, thanks Marcy! Hopefully I'll get chance to play in the next couple of days.
Me too Joanne. I guessed summer treats but didn't know it wasn't necessarily in the broad sense of colour. Makes it easier as I didn't have any popsicle stamps!
A fun challenge and love the bright summer colors! I used the new Creating with Vintage Patterns CD, Garden Creative Scraps and "Down on the Farm and Farm Chicks" Clear Stamps HERE'S MINE
I finally managed to make something! You wouldn't believe how long I faffed and fiddled with something that eventually got trashed This came together quickly once I'd had the idea.
Well, after stalking for a while, I've finally found some "me" time to create a card for a CS challenge. Not certain I uploaded this to the correct place. I'm sure I missed a FAQ somewhere.
Here it is. I also uploaded a close up photo in my gallery. Now, I have to figure out how to make my main photo show up in the gallery for the challenge. (Will post this for now, and make changes if I need to fix something. )
It was fun! Thanks for the challenge!
Sara
PS...Okay, so I'm gathering that if I used the correct challenge code in my title or in my keywords, the search engine will find it and magically make it appear in the correct gallery?? Sorry to be such a newbie!

You got it spot on! All galleries except for the SU! sets work on keywords so if you include the keyword for the manufacturer of your stamps/supplies (in this case craftysecrets or crafty_secrets) and/or for the specific challenge you're taking part in, your project will show up in the gallery. Cute card!
Five days late getting to this but I have an excuse. My kids arrived home from England and Toronto for 10 glorious days and we have been busy. We only get together twice a year, summer and Christmas, so we treasure our time together. Last night they went out with friends so my husband and I put on a movie and I crafted while I watched. Great idea for a challenge, thankyou very much Marcy. Here is my "Cantaloupe Blooms"
Cheers, Elizabeth
