Default CSSC165 - Adding Texture (3-29-11)

Welcome to this week's Crafty Secrets challenge!

This week we are going to add Texture to our Crafty Secrets projects. Here are a few ideas to get the mojo flowing:
  • Buttons
  • Cork
  • Felt
  • Canvas or Fabric
  • Dry embossing
  • Tulle

The possibilities are endless! The twist this week is to use at least TWO types of texture on your project.

Here is my sample card for this week:
Something To Crow About

Here is a link to this week's gallery:
Adding Texture

Don't forget to use the keywords craftysecrets and CSSC165 when you upload your project, and link back to this thread, so that we can check out your great project.

Happy Stamping!
Cynthia

Thanks Cynthia, I may not get time to play today but hopefully later in the week! I'll be back to check out your sample once it's been approved by the gallery mods!

I used several different elements for texture..burlap,crocheted flower and leaf, tag and ticket and a vintage brad. My daughter is due to have a baby girl any day and this will be her card. The stamp is from the small Christmas set.

I have been in bed with flu for the past 3 days and don't feel right yet. If I feel better tomorrow I'll attempt a card. I seem to feel most uncreative when I'm sick!

I'm late and this is not at all the card I intended to make but I did add subtle texture in a couple of ways!

It's all about the shoes

Thanks for hosting this week Cynthia!
