CC384 Vanilla & Cherry Gumballs (7-17-12)
Happy Tuesday everyone and welcome to color challenge #384. I am your hostess this week.
Are you ready for some
"vanilla & cherry gumballs"? I have chosen one of the new in-colors and paired it with a regal and a neutral.
Attached is a color swatch for you to match colors. Just in case you dont have the new in-colors as yet.
The colors for challenge 384:
very vanilla
cherry cobbler
gumball green
Dessert: With these colors, I thought a "Christmas in July" theme would be very appropriate. Can't wait to see all the beautiful cards in the gallery.
Our design team this week:
maryr917 (Mary Marsh) me!
artystamper (Julia Aston )
ravengirl (Toni Storie)
snowmanqueen (Carolyn Simonsen )
CC384 Gallery
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC384 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading

Lovely colors, Mary....and indeed, remind one of Christmas. I am not in the Christmas mood yet...and won't be for awhile. So I did a summertime card. I was in upper Michigan recently and the sweet cherries were in so I used that theme.

I didn't have those exact colors, but I think mine are close enough. Thanks for the excuse to make another Christmas card, Mary!

Jen, I think Gumball Green is closest to Wild Wasabi - when I put the two side by side, Wasabi is just a touch lighter. HTH : )

This will be a great Christmas color combo - very popular I think.
I'm just not ready to start Christmas cards yet, so I opted to try these colors without a Christmas theme.
Thanks for another great color combo. I look forward to this challenge every week!

CC384 Vintage Thank You
needed a thank you card- used Jim Holtz' pocket watches EF, distressed the images a bit, and added a thank you from SU's Alphabet Soup. Here's

A great challenge thanks Mary. We won't have Gumball Green until next month, so I have substituted Garden Green. Here is mine.

This is my first time in this challenge. Is it okay if I made my card today before I even saw this challenge, and it just happens to be exactly what you are asking for? Great minds think alike.

love this color combo
here's mine
I didn't do a specific Christmas card, but I will have to pull out some Christmas stamps and try one. Mine is floral that could be used anytime, but it would be a great December card as well. Thanks for the fun challenge.
