I just returned from SU Leadership Conference in beautiful San Antonio, Texas....SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE!!!! Just before I left I realized I would be coming home to the color challenge hostess week - which is a HUGE challenge for me in and of itself. So i quickly chose colors before I left so my sample makers would have what they needed......and I chose:
BASIC BLACK
LUCKY LIMEADE
POPPY PARADE
Pretty colors, right? Dessert- use at least 2 different embossing folders on your card......not hard, right? I usually do anyway!
Here are samples by your color challenge design team -
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
I tried to call you --the cc wasn't moved to the Forum so I did it. I hope I didn't give you a heart attack (and you were done with it) and you just forgot to move it! I tried calling but you didn't answer..............
I kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting........lol!
Hope you had a wonderful time at leadership and brought back a bunch of new ideas to share! Love the colors this week. One more Christmas Card down for the 2012 season!
Poppin' in to play this week's color combination. Thanks for the challenge, Karen. At first I wasn't sure about using these three together, but came up with the idea for Valentine Kisses
with this challenge; I just realized, I have the new in colors from last year, and haven't opened the package yet. Have been trying to index digital images, and other organization first.

This card is dedicated to CAKath- I employed her embossing/punch technique - it was fun! I needed a card for my niece, so this fits the bill. Here's Thanks Kathy!
Karen, this was a great color combo! I had to improvise with the red and green, because I did not have the exact colors....I hope that is ok! Here is my card:
