CC283: Baja Poppy Cakes!
It is time for another SCS Color Combo with dessert! I have been playing around with so many of the new colors. I figured it was time to work with the poppy parade. I cannot decide if I like it or not. It is so amazingly bright(nicely put). I combined it this week with some muted colors! It is totally doable this way. I just know you are going to rock it! If nothing else, the title alone will make you happy happy! I heart saying it as it sounds cheerful!

Baja Breeze (muted soft blue)
Poppy Parade (sharp tomato red)
Crumb Cakes (aka kraft)
Neutrals (white, ivory, black)
This week's dessert option : Extra Extra Read All About It! Newsprint is everywhere! Whether it is actual newspaper, designer paper, or handstamped to look like newsprint, find fun ways to add it to you creation!
I asked Iwona and Morissa to sample with me this week! Thanks so much, girls!

Easy colors to work with, Betty! Thanks. I had just received this stamp from an EBay auction and I thought it would work well with your challenge today.

Betty, That title does make me smile! Should be interesting to work with. I'm sure there'll be tons of great creations from everyone, as usual!
I'm not sure if I like Poppy Parade either, maybe working with it will help.
Thanks again for another great combo!

This was a hard combo for me especially with only having Baja Breeze ink and not being a great fan of Poppy Parade just yet. It's just too orangey a red for my liking - but I'm sure I'll change my mind when I see a great combo using it!
