CC105: Rustic Retreat
Hello everyone!
I am filling in for Emily as the Guest Hostess for the color challenge this week! Sorry its a bit early but Alexa has alot of appointments tomorrow, so I figured you all wouldn't mind not having to stalk me ;) . I chose a card with a color combo that I found SO fresh, and inspiring! It has some of our favorites, and also some of our NOT so used colors. CC105 is here! Chocolate Chip Really Rust Old Olive So Saffron Cool Caribbean These colors are inspired by this card from okiechic Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here are my two sample with the color challenge!
Sweet baby Gallery at Splitcoaststampers Bloomin Color Gallery at Splitcoaststampers IMPORTANT! Please upload all cards for the color challenge by putting CC105 in the Keywords section. You can also link it back here :-D. If you need help with linking view this thread Here
Hope you have fun, and thanks so much for participating.
Great colors to work with. So many possiblities! Not sure if I'll get to it tonight. (Monday night is my night to actually get to pick what to watch with DH!) Can't wait to get started in the morning. Thanks Lauren!
Lovely colors. Hmmmm dd#2 wants a bday card for a school friend but I have to use a flamingo stamp... can they be chocolate chip? Or cool caribbean?? LOL
Yeah! A new challenge already! So glad I checked in tonight. This should be challenging...especially if one does not think she has any r rust...must go peruse...
What a great color combo! I love it. I NEVER use really rust...as a matter of fact, since I only used Choc. Chip ink, my RR ink pad is still wrapped in plastic! But maybe this has inspired me to break it out! Thanks for the inspiration!
I don't know if it's my computer or the site acting up but I have been tring to post for an hour almost and I just can't seem to get it together. Anyways this is the card I made, it's still pending. I hope that's not an issue but here goes Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Great Challange
Thanks so much for filling in and posting so early!
I guess I'll be having these lovely colors swimming around in my head all night so I can get up early a get a card done for this challenge!! Thanks for the early post.
I messed up on my first upload because I forgot to add old olive to my card and I had already photographed it, and I did try to edit it, but not sure that worked so I just uploaded again. I hope it doesn't get edited off. Here's the one that is correct: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Here's mine. I've never done a color challenge before, simply because I don't have as many colors as other people seem to have. I LOVE using really rust and old olive though, so I jumped on this one and substituted with close colors on the ones I didn't already have.
Lauren...thanks for filling in. I hope the appointements go great for you....I will be thinking of you! It was a challenge for me to get all of those colors in. I substituted for cool carribean because *ironically, my cool carribean stuff comes in tomorrow!!!!
