That being said, school is kicking my butt right now, so I think I can only handle a guest DT spot. I was really just entering to get some more practice before next summer! Here is my 3rd challenge card, but please kindly take my name out of the running for the main DT.
I know! I know! I'm such a L-7. I just want to be able to do as good a job as the other designers have done with their stints. Believe me, I would much rather be making CAS cards than grading papers and making powerpoints!!!
Plus I just increased the other finalists' odds by 10%!
I think there was some confusion because someone asked about only trying out for a guest DT spot. Last time, guest designers were chosen from the 20 semifinalists.
It was SUCH an honor to be chosen as a finalist--and to find out about it yesterday on my birthday!! What a great present!!!

I was telling my hubby about this and saying how talented you are, and he was like "Honey, you do know that this means your chances just went up, right?" LOL.
Thanks for sharing your talent! I have enjoyed seeing what you've created and can't wait to see what's next.
That stinks, Meg! I am so sorry that you have to drop out! I wish you could stay home and make CAS cards all year, too!

Awwww, you guys are making me blush!! Thanks for all the warm fuzzies. Good luck to the remaining finalists---I'm glad I don't have to make that decision!
Thanks to those who stopped in to comment. I was up most of the night tossing and turning over which card I chose, lol. I was contemplating asking to change my submission, but I guess it's better to stick with my original. I will be gone most of the day today with an OB appt and a visit to the paper store, but I will go through the gallery when I get back. Can't wait to see what you talented ladies came up with!

We'll have a lot of fun this season, as we have every other season.
Good luck to the finalists, looking forward to seeing all the cards you make!
This is true every season!!! That's why I beg people to try again.
Y'all are coming back next season, right?

I'm excited!! My son has been sick, though, so I don't know if I'll be there for all of it. I'm so tired, too, after construction has kept us up for the past two nights. It's not a great combination!

EEK I hope I can stay up that late! LOL (I'm a lightweight, sorry - but in my defense, I'm also still technically on medical leave from my surgery last week... )
