I thought in keeping with the time of year we would remember Valentine/Love/Heart day, but with a bit of a twist. I would like you to look back in your gallery and pick a love/heart card that you did at least a couple of years ago, and using that image to create a card in the style you work in today. We all change our style as we progress, so let us make the Old New Again.

On February 14th some of us celebrate Valentine's Day, which is now one of the most popular holidays, inspiring a flurry of card and gift giving to those we love. The origin of the concept of romantic love goes far back to ancient times, long before the legend of St. Valentine.
According to Greek mythology, the first idea of romantic love came from the god, Eros. One of the versions of the birth of this very appealing god was presented by the Greek poet Hesiod, who tells us in his Theogony, that Eros was one of the first gods born out of Chaos (the void), along with Gaia (the earth) and Tartarus (the underworld). This puts his birth all the way back to the beginning of time. Theogony describes Eros "...and Eros, the fairest of the deathless gods; he unstrings the limbs and subdues both mind and sensible thought in the breasts of all gods and all men." (Hesiod, Theogony, 120-2) This sounds familiar and is quite a good description of the state that engulfs one when we fall in love. From the passage we can assume that he had power over not only man, but also the gods. The other significant depiction of the myth surrounding Eros' birth is that he was the son of Aphrodite and Ares. Being the son of the goddess of love puts him in a less powerful role. The legend of Eros, along with Psyce, from the Metamorphoses of Apuleis, the Roman writer, is spawned from classical mythology. While Cupid or the ancient god Eros gives us the inspiration, St. Valentine supplied the name of our current holiday ... so, Happy Valentine's Day.
Since I only joined SCS the end of February last year (one year anniversary coming up) I didn't have any old Valentines to go back to SO I went back to the beginning and re-did a Card I had uploaded my very first day as a member!The old CAS is here Spoiled Silly

Kia, I so love this challenge, I love turning my old stamps into newer updated cards. So, I went to my gallery and checked. One, just one valentines card and I sold the set. I so still have the wheel so I will try to do something if an idea hits me.
Still trying to figure out how to do this challenge! My cards in the beginning were all about shapes, die cuts and not stamps. I did not own very many stamps in the beginning!!
Revisited a 2011 card- A Heart, a Flower, and a Cup of Tea- doing a bit more of an organized layout, and a die cut rather than fussy cut heart. Even found a paper button in my stash! Here's my new card- Happy Hearts

Did a re-do of a 2015 card, switching it up from a thank you to a Happy birthday sentiment, and doing some masking and blender pen work for my blue background. Here's my original card- CC520 Thanks from All of Us. I kept the striped element/button/twine combo in the upper left corner, and used a moss dc flower instead of pink stripes in the upper horizontal edge of my card. Finished with a green paper lower vertical border and some faux stitching. Here's HB from the Herd
