~~~CAS WEEKLY CHALLENGE~~~
Hope everyone had a great week...here's what we got for ya this time...
It's easy to find, you probably have it already in your house, and sometimes there are stamps for it! Yes, dictionary paper and newspaper are great to use for a card! They give things an artsy look...I bought a dictionary in the dollar section at Target and have been happily ripping pages out for it for a few months now! Don't feel like you have to go out and buy anything though...you can use a newspaper, a newsprint stamp or patterned paper, or even download it off the internet and print it out! So many choices, so little time!
Thanks Denise, for today's terrific challenge to use newsprint/dictionary print. It gave me a reason to take out and use a stamp that I've had for years, that has gone unused.
Hard one for me - we don't take the newspaper and even the ads that we got in the mail are in the recycle bin! Took a photocopy of a page in my Scrabble dictionary (I don't know where I might have a regular dictionary!) and when the ink dries I'll come up with something! Stumper challenge!
Hopefully this reproduction of a newspaper in DP form will be OK. Here's MY CARD.
Once I got past the horror of tearing into a book I learned to LOVE using dictionary pages on cards! I find them at my thrift store for $.50-$1 and they make great accents on cards. Here's mine for today- Just My Type
