I'd love to do this. This Christmas was my first time making Christmas cards. It was so much fun! It will sure help to have them all done early. I will commit to six cards a month.

Hey does anyone know how I can repair the first post?
I copy and paste all the names the same way, some become 'links' some not.
I also don't know how long I can make that post, i see that last years thread she did it in columns,
Maybe if I copy it to word then past it back on here I can do the column that way

LOL Even Bob had to chuckle when I read this to him. You'd be welcome to whatever I had available sweetie - baked goods included.
My plan is to make a different card each month, but all the cards I make for that month will be the same. Or at least very similar. I have a hard time making cards exactly alike. So by next Christmas I will have 6 cards of each of eleven different designs. Well, at least that's the goal! lol

Think that is what I will do also. By the time I figure out what I am going to do, it is just as easy to make 6 as it is to make 1.
I agree, Angie. Another great way to go is with One Sheet Wonders (OSW) If you've not played with those, check out the link in Vikki Jo's siggy line.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check them out.
Leaving for Cincy tomorrow and coming back the 29th. That leaves me 5 days of my break at home to clean my craft room. The rest of my house is getting ignored so I can spend the time in there. I miss being able to sit at my desk and create. I made gift card holders the other night and carried everything down stairs to work at the coffee table because it was easier than finding my desk.

Hope you get into Cincy before the snow starts on Christmas Eve. It is nothing compared to where some of you live, but I heard up to 8 inches by Christmas Day.
Thank you ladies for signing up!
I actually had a dream that so many people signed up during the night that I got over whelmed and gave up! LOL
This is going to be fun!
I am signing up again. This is the third year I have signed up but to this day have not completed a card to post. I always wait to the eleventh hour to try to get things done. I hate it but that is what happens. This year I already have four cards done for January. Well now it is three. My DH just took one to give to his boss. I was tryong to figure out how many to do and will just go for 10. That will give me some wiggle room just incase I think of others to add to the mailing list.
I did this for 2010 - what a blessing. Didn't get all of the cards posted to the challenge links here on SCS, but I did get them all made before the Christmas rush. We were away from home for almost 8 weeks this fall so it was a tremendous stress reliever to have the cards all done when we got home! I'll do 8-10 per month again this year.

Your gallery contains some beautiful cards! I love the doggy. That brown and cream one next to it is really nice.

Can you explain to me what VSN is and how it works?
Hi
Basically, VSN stands for Virtual Stamping Night. They hold them here on SCS... you can check out their thread for more basic info HERE It looks like the next SCS VSN is in February. They usually have a theme and pre-ordained hostesses post challenges for you to use as your creative inspiration. You check in on the challenge threads throughout the evening for the duration of the event.
For the CCC11 thread, I think it would be great if we designated the 25th of each month to gather on-line to chat and work on our cards. Kind of a Virtual Stamping Club.
Because of the time differences for everyone, there's no way we're all going to be on at the same time but post to the thread and say you're here and working on your cards. Is anyone else around? You may find 1 of us or a whole troop to keep you company while you create
Hope that helps. And I'm planning to be here on the 25th of January so just look to see if I'm ON
Sign me up. I have always wanted to do this and just never take the time to sign up or post. I have been lurking around here long enough so I might as well take the plunge. Put me down for 10 per month.
I'm in for another year. I've done the Christmas Card Challenge for the last 2 years and it sure makes my life easier at this time of year. I'll commit to 10 cards per month, even though I don't need quite that many.
Thanks for the challenge again. Merry Christmas everyone!
