I agree, OSW cards are an excellent way to go if you want to mass produce. You can get 12-18 cards using 1 single 12x12 patterned paper as your starting point. If you need ideas, click the link in Vikki Jo's siggy line.

I am a bit confused.. I went into the gallery this morning and searched CCC11
a few cards came up that have nothing to do with Christmas, maybe that keyword is already taken? I've tried contacting mods but I think they are still having issues.
Does anyone know a Mod I can ask instead of going through Contact Us????
That's odd. CCC shouldn't be used for anything except this challenge thread, though looking at the coding, I can see how they wound up there. Maybe someone has misfiled them.

I want to participate again this year. Was not able to in 2010 because we were not in our home for over 4 months due to a flood in our home while we were on vacation. Took that long to empty, clean out and rebuild the inside. My amount will probaly be 10 per month as I send out over 100 cards each year.

I make cards for Operation Write Home (OWH)
Please add me to the group. I will be making 6 cards each month. That's more than I need for myself so the rest will be sent to Operation Write Home. I'm excited to get started! My daughter (tryingtofindtime) has signed up also so we'll be working on Christmas cards as well as the "hero" cards for OWH after I get there next week for the annual Christmas visit.

I am so not sure how many I will do, I only need 40 for us, then my neighbor always wants of few of Home Made cards from me, then I was going to send to OWH, but glitter form a set got on them.. No glitter Allowed for the troops! It's for their safety.

I was going to sign up to this last year and the year before! This year I'm actually doin it LOL. No more procrastination for me, I'll put that off for another time! Will try to do 5 per month.

Someone told me if it is loose glitter, that a Swiffer sheet brushed over the card will take care of your glitter problem.

I don't know. Reading the OWH Home page it says No Glitter, maybe they do not want to take chances. It seems I am sparkley whenever I am in the same room as it! LOL
Never used a Swiffer sheet I will have to try that.

LOL ... me plan ahead!?! LOL Normally I do plan each town for a certain day. I hate hitting all 3 in 1 day.
Water is froze so I need a bottle of propane and my washer broke so I go to my ex MIL's to do laundry. I plan for the pharmacy and Bank and Judy's all in one day. Was going to be today.
We also have (had) plans to take my one car to scrap yard today (someone else is helping so I am on his schedule too) That was going to be my gas money and kitty litter! LOL
Been here 42 years! LOL Sadly I can't do everything in one town either! grrr
10 miles East is the feed Mill & my doctor (town is too small to buy major groceries in or even gas) 15 miles South is Wal Mart (where to do as much as possible) and 15 miles West, Clint's doctor, pharmacy, Judy and the bank.
They are working on starting my car now, they can not load the other with mine where it sits either (win win for me)

I am so glad to find this thread! I did last year - I think I made it thru June - and I completed 85 cards! It was great! So I definitely want to do this again - and maybe I'll make it thru November this year!
