March Challenge
I'll take the challenge for March. For this month let's recycle, reuse or repurpose something on our cards this month. It could be part of a vintage card, an embellishment reused from something else, a soda can. The possibilities are endless.

I have had this green yarn sitting around forever! I took it from something but I've had it so long I can't remember what. I've made quite a few of these cards just so I can use up all of this! I'll be going through more of my stash and recycling a few more things for cards.

I used a Simply Sent kit by Stampin' Up! For my March cards. A little sponging and a pearl jazzed them up a bit.

I decided to reuse an old stamp set. I think this set was the one I used to make my very first handmade Christmas Cards, many years ago (2002). I should upload a picture of those cards, just for fun. I've come a long way since.
I also decided to pull out my vellum. I gave up using vellum years ago because I could never find an adhesive that was truly invisible. Recently, I've noticed limedoodle using it really well on some of her cards. I asked her about it, and she gave me some good tips and encouraged me to bring my velllum back into play.
So, maybe I didn't follow the challenge to the letter, but it definitely encouraged me to reuse some older items.

Here is my card for the recycling challengs. Snowflakes by must love cats - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
The ribbon is recycled from a christmas gift and the panel I have stitched on is actually the inside of the cover of an old excercise book I threw out.
I'm very into the kraft and white colour scheme at the moment and couldn't toss such a great example of kraft colour.
It didn't match my backing kraft card exactly hence I layered it onto some red first.

I'm way behind on my Christmas cards. This is the first one for March and it doesn't use anything recycled as it's made for this week's CAS challenge:

Here's mine - I repurposed a Christmas card I received last year and made two cards out of it:
