WHO: Everyone that needs cards for the Holidays;

WHAT: Complete Christmas/Hanukkah cards each month (January through November) You can set your monthly goal for however many you’ll need. There is no score keeping here..but if you complete your cards for the month on time you will be in for a drawing for a special gift !

WHY: To relieve stress! This way you’ll have plenty of cards to send out for the holidays!! We all know how busy December can be, so why not try to get your holiday cards all done by the end of November! Remember, the whole idea behind this challenge is to make your life easier.

WHERE: First upload to your gallery then post a link in the designated thread*. Please use CCC12 in the Title or Keyword so that others can search for your cards! *Please use only the thread that I start for each month or you might be missed.
To attach a link here, when the page you want us to go see is open, go to the address bar and 'copy the whole thing' then go to where you want it seen and paste it in the post box. ( step by step instructions with pics in PDF in the below)

WHEN: The whole month! There is no 'deadline' for getting your monthly cards done. However...as an incentive, there will be a small monthly prize. At the end of each month, everyone who has completed their cards for that particular month will have their name put into a drawing for a small incentive prize.

HOW: Just post a reply to this thread saying that you want to join and then start creating! Make your cards any way you like - make them all the same or mix them up. Any tools, toys, gadgets, embellishments, etc...you decide- after all, these are YOUR cards.

Hi Ladies, stopping by to say I am sorry, but as you know my year has been re arranged a few times, a bit of sickness, a bit of packing a move then un packing , 2 very hard and sad losses and a new home... and a beautiful new grand daughter and that is why I was not able to meet my goal or fulfill my want...

I want to say I will join if you will have me ... probably about 6 a month...

I will sign up for 10 cards per month. This challenge has been amazing for me to get everything done- I almost have too many ideas (smile!)

Don't worry Vicki, I haven't forgotten about your trees. I will try to get them done before I leave for Fl. My hubby are going to spend the weekend with my sis and bil celebrating our 20th Anniversary.

The concept is to figure out how many Christmas cards you send out each year and break it down into a doable Monthly goal. I send out about 60 cards so I'm shooting for 10 cards a month. (Gives me a little wiggle room hehe)

You're welcome. We thought since some people thought I was running in this year, we might as well make it official. And it lets me add people when Vikki Jo has to be at work in the city and can't be here.

The key to keeping up and staying motivated is remembering to pop in and say at least once a week. We'd love to see you every day but we understand that isn't always possible. Just keep checking in and you'll be fine :-)

Guilt? Me? Never! You just feel guilty becuase you have been watching me make cards all year and the only Christmas cards you have made were at card club. ;)

I'm going to put my name down so I'm forcing myself to keep on track.

I'll go for five a month, please, which should be plenty. Just have to make them now!

Well, I signed up last year, did fairly well until I broke my leg and couldn't get to the craft room for over 3 months. So, I would like to try it again, it has totally worked for me in previous years. I will sign up for 5 and hope I make more :D

Okay, I'm having withdrawal from the HYCCT challenge so I'm in. I think 4 cards per month will work. That's probably more than I will send out!

KelliJo -- how're things going? Did you ever get settled into a place? I thought about you as I was zipping down I-5 the other day...at 5:30am. :rolleyes:

We did Jane, for awhile there I wasn't going to be having a craft room, my FIL lives with us (4 Looooong years now) and he took the last room, was hoping to find a house with an office in it... ANYWAY... Our Masterbedroom is HUGE so it's the other half of my bedroom, it cuts down on my late night crafting as DH gets a BIT irritated with lights cameras and action going on... LOL

I am up in Olympia now, so you will have to PM me one day when zipping through and we can grab a cuppa!!! :D
