I'm finally caught up. I made 12 of this design to make up for June, July and August. I didn't post in June and July since the cards are the same. Now let's see if I can keep caught up for the next three months.
Now it's time to go back to June and July to check out your cards.
Saw these on the July thread, Debbie. I've given you credit all the way around and you're in the drawing for August!
if you're ever this direction, let me know...I know all the best sales....I have way to much fun junkin....
Will keep that in mind, Sheri. I'd love to do an art retreat in Wichita and they have a good writers conference there every year. Plus an old friend of mine is the program director at a classic country radio station. would love to surprise him.
I'm all caught up for August. Because I'm on deadlines, I didn't comment on cards outside of your August Goal. Just not enough hours in my day and I apologize.
Keep in mind, there are only 5 days left of this month. Of 183 participants, only 15 have completed their August Goal.
Here are my August cards, just in time!!! I made the white and blues ones during DTGD and posted them at that time so here are the photos of the single snowman and the group photo of all of Augusts.
Well it is close to the end of the month but I have 12 plus extras done. The quick way to view them in on my blog because all 16 are in 3 posts but if you want to check them out one at a time they are also in my Splitcoast gallery.

I thought I wasn't going to make my August quota in time, but thanks to Sheri's (Ksnurse) Teapot Tuesday challenge I made one for that and four for myself .
Simply Peaceful
Finally finished my four August cards, talk about cutting it fine. I know I did snowmen last year, if it wasnt for this challenge they would all be snowmen!! Just love them.
I'm glad you like these trees. The hardest part of this card was selecting the background DSP. You have no idea how many different pieces of DSP I tried behind that tree!
Here's how to make the trees:
I cut out two trees. I stacked them on top of each other and sewed down the middle of them with sewing machine. Then I pulled up the top tree on either side of the sewed line to achieve the 3-D effect. Very simple and fun to do.
oh I love easy peasy cards that look complicated....I went back and looked and now I see the stitching.....I'm gonna have to try this one....thx so much...
