ruthmarie...VikkiJo has a new thread for 2013 already up....see in my signature....you might post over there so we don't miss you...it is so great to be done ahead of time...
Just so you know.. I hadn't forgotten about the album of VikkiJo's cards. By the time I heard back from Lydia I was already in the midst of writing my new book.
Now I can't find which flash drive I saved everything on! I'll keep looking and let you know when they post.
I do know it will take approx. 8-10 hours to do because I am limited to 10 cards per hour.
I've started the upload process. I only got about 30 of the cards uploaded today. Didn't realize I hadn't resized them all so will work on that tomorrow. You can see them all in a collective album HERE

Wonderful .... we have rain, rain and more rain. Lots of flooding here in the SW of England, we are OK but a few miles away disaster just on Christmas Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by the unpredictable weather this year in all parts of our world......
We have had only one sunny day in a week here in San Francisco, so much for sunny California! We have been watching the news about the floods in the UK again, it's so awful for all those people affected, especially over Christmas.
I haven't had TV on for a couple days so haven't really caught up with the news. It's so sad when disaster strikes at any time of the year, but it just seems more horrible on Christmas.
Jan, sorry about all the rain you're getting. Think of it as a good excuse to stay inside and cuddle with the grandkids.
Yes Debbie I've certainly made the most of it with cuddles, and we haven't watched much Tv, we did TRY to watch Polar Express with Joey but he wanted to talk trains with grandad so we missed most of it! Who needs TV when you have a four year around for entertainment.
Is this the thread we will be using for our Christmas cards for 2013? I'd like to start up again to be more prepared next year. Because of my husband's sudden passing last January I didn't really get into my crafting until just before Christmas and had to make my cards. The ones I had already done really came in handy!

I know what you mean, Jan. I was well entertained by my 3 yo great nephew yesterday. It took him some time to start to warm up to me, but once he did, I couldn't leave his side. It was a lot more fun than visiting with the grownups.

I'm just wondering.....do grandmas have a special smell that is attractive to kids under 6? I had a really bad cold when I arrived in Texas, and tried to stay away from the 2 year old son of my son's girlfriend, but he took an instant liking to me and wouldn't stay away. I feel really bad, because now he has a cold.

Who needs an excuse to cuddle the grandkids I got lots of cuddles with/from my 14 month old grandson this Christmas - the best ever
Joey has never left grandads side since we arrived, if steve sits in the recliner he has the little man sitting with him. steve was exhausted from the constant questions on Christmas day, why, how, he made a story up about a train, joeys favourite subject, and then spent hours telling it over and over, he is such a fun grandad. Nan get all the cuddles though.
Wish I could have been with my granddaughters. I miss them so much. I don't think Vince heard me tell him that I'm going to Nebraska for Christmas next year with or without him.
