Just out of interest, any idea last year how many signed up and how many actually finished. I realise people drop out for various reasons but I always wondered.

I don't have any idea, Jan. VikkiJo might now as she ran this on her own last year. I was just the prize fairy hehe

That would be an interesting statistic!
I will get mine done, and was thinking last night, how I would NOT be bothering this month if not for this challenge. It's too easy to postpone.
But I have a trip to Atlanta coming up next month, so need to get September's done early too.
I actually tried something yesterday but didn't like it so hope to get in there today. DH and DS are going to the SF Giants game (Go Braves! Go Chipper!) later today. So I'll have a quieter house in about an hour. I'd go but my left foot has been hurting and I'm trying to rest it, not walk a mile from BART to the Giants park!

YES! We fly Sat. Sept. 22 and I'm coming back Oct. 6th. The kids are staying here, they have classes and stuff. DH is staying two weeks beyond me. We have to go through his parents' house; he lost them both in the past two years. They lived not too far from Malfunction Junction. We'll be staying there.

It sounds like you will be right in Atlanta; we will be in Lawrenceville. I tried to find that junction, but couldn't, 285 and ne blvd? Anyway quiet a ways from Lawrenceville.
We will be babysitting grandkids.

We call the 285-85 junction that. lol
My sister is considering driving down for a visit but it's a long drive (800 miles!). I told her we have a lot to do. So if she comes, we put her to work. ha ha

Sharon you must have been inspired to be nearly finished, well done, I'm struggling with august, I now have three sets on the go and not keen any any, no wonder I have so many boxes with bits in!!
I do, Debbie, Thank you. I think it was just the intensity of getting so many short stories written/ polished over the course of 2 days. Just wiped me out. hehe
Please add me to the challenge. From what I understand there is no number limit. I am a little late getting my cards going this year, so I want to move out. A challenge always helps my modivation.l I'm aiming for at least 50 each month September, October, and November. I hope you'll I can't wait.
Thanks,
Debby
Welcome, Debby. I'm with Jan, I'm lucky if I make 4 a month. Just don't stress out if you don't make your goal. I'm sure we'll be starting the challenge again for 2013.
I haven't gotten mine done due to some physical problems in our family.
I love this challenge because it forces me to at least think about getting it done all year.
I have started, but, not completed. Now, I have to make cards for others, as well as church groups. Sorry...just not enough time in the world makes this happen sometimes.
Anyways, I will always be glad I joined this group...it puts pressure on me to stay with it. I am working on cards when I can. Too many to make! (esp. when my son asks me to make him about 200 cards to send out to clients).

That's a lot of cards. I sure do hope his clients appreciate them.

Welcome Debby. I've added you to my database. Go you on doing 50 per month! And I love your kitty. I have one just like him
I love this Challenge even though I'm falling behind. I was doing pretty well the first half of the year but then work started taking up more time and then one thing after another. I'm hoping to get August cards done this week and then I'll only be one month behind which isn't too bad. Most months I've made more than the 10 cards/month I committed so I'll have plenty of cards ready but it's been fun coming up with a new design each month. I make at least 10 of each month's design but some months it's been as many as 20.
I love looking at all the cards being made for this challenge - very inspiring and great source of ideas.
Well Lily, that's what it's all about.....having enough cards ahead of time so you don't feel rushed in December, so I think you have achieved your purpose! Congratulations!
Thanks Angie, I thought there would be more finished the year than that but life sometimes gets in the way !! I think everyone seems to struggle in the last part of the year , for me it's finding ideas not the actually time to make them but I really enjoy being part of the challenges and making new friends on here.
Well, I seem to be one of those that hasn't been able to keep up. Last year I made it most of the year. This year I haven't completed the challenge for each month since spring. I have plenty of ideas and have favorited enough cards to CASE for the next 5 years, just haven't been able to make the time.
