vsn might be too soon for me. put it off a week please! lol
well ladies.. Merry Christmas! see you tomorrow!
I'm looking forward to VSN. Now that my Christmas cards are all done ::: ducking and flying stamps, ink pads or sharp objects::: , I can use the Challenges to get ahead on something else
Is VSN this weekend? Why does it always happen on the weekend when I am working nights? With 12 hour shifts, I really don't get a chance to do much stamping.
Well, it figures....those are both weekends that I am working! Thanks for checking, and congratulations on being Queen for the Day this week! You have a fantastic gallery!
A little inspiration for you. I know this woman personally. She is one of my dearest friends. Her cards are always stunning. I dare you to browse her blog and not be inspired to try SOMETHING!
I just went through 2 1/2 years of Carla's blog! WOW! What talent. I do not normally use too many flowers but after checking out her cards, I am thinking I am going to have to try! Thanks for recommending her blog! Beautiful!!!! Rita
Thank Ina and Sharon! I was quite surprised and pleased. I have been quite busy the last two days at work and at home, so I am really looking forward to seeing all cases that folks have done of my cards. Fun stuff!

I'm glad you enjoyed her blog, Rita. She is such a talented lady. You just never know what she is going to come up with. LOL And it's always elegant.
So glad I got mine done and posted! Hope I do this well every month!!

Please sign me up for this year for 10 per month! I found this thread in about Nov last year and thought what a fantastic idea this is to take the stress out of making Christmas cards at the last minute. I've missed Jan but will get on to making my first lot ready too upload to the Feb thread!
Sigh I am glad you guys are not strict on getting the challenge done I am on mission organization slash switching my two rooms aroumd not going to get my cards done til after Jan.... I know what cards I want to make so I am going to do my Feb first then go back to Jan
5 done and 5 more almost done. I have to trim out my sentiments for the last five and adhere them. I don't know if I will have the energy to photograph them though.
Finished my January cards late last night, and they are pretty simple. Will shoot a photo when I get home tonight. Nothing like procrastinating. But at least I'll have them come DEC.

Finally got my first two cards photographed and uploaded to my gallery. Now I don't know where to put the link for the challenge! Would someone with more smarts than I have please give me explicit instructions? (Sad isn't it!)

The first post has step-by-step directions on how to link a card to your post. It's a .pdf.

No I don't stand at the door with my whip! LOL
The Monthly deadline is just to be in for the prize envelope, which is a motivational push for you.
Getting them done is up to you to ease your stress come the holidays... which in case I haven't mentioned lately is just 327 days away! LOL
Merry Christmas Ladies and Congratulations to having 1 month behind you!
