Ok...I'll give it a go again...I only managed to hang on until March last year, maybe I'll get farther this year.

I'll go for 4 a month.

A suggestion to you gals...if you address the envies every month as you do the cards you will have those all done in November too. If you really wanted to be proactive you could write and sign the cards, stuff the envies and address/stamp them. Imagine...all Christmas cards ready to mail in November! The forever stamps don't change, so no worry of them needing more postage. You might have a few stragglers to do at the end of the year but not nearly as many.

Spreads the cost of the stamps out too.

Sign me up! I made like 80 in two weeks this year but I think 10 a month sounds easier. Plus, I love making them so now I will have a reason to make Christmas Cards in April! Thanks for hosting.

Melissa, I don't know whether to be in awe or just jealous! I still have some that haven't gone out for 2011...they will be Happy Winter New Year Wishes, instead.

Our Christmas stamps are cheaper than general postage but don't go on sale until November but the rest are done to that point. I just need to get some more clear baggies for them, ran out of C6 size.

Hi Ladies,

I enjoyed this challenge so much last year, I would love to join again. I think I'll need a fewer cards....a long overdue thinning of my list! So, put me down for 4 a month!

Thank you so much, Vicki Jo and Kelly! You girls are awesome!

Please sign me up for 4 cards a month. Thanks!

Good morning, everyone!
Sorry this took me a couple days to catch up. I started the new year out with a head cold. Hoping it's on the way out as I'm already behind. Hate that!

Happy New Year!

I hope your cold will soon be a thing of the past. A crumby way to start the new year. I also had a bad start - a bloody nose Sunday morning that wouldn't quit. I'm on blood thinner so I went to the E.R. and they couldn't make it quit either. They stuffed my nose and I'm going to my doc this afternoon to get the packing removed. My feeling is that it will start bleeding again, but hope we can stop it this time. It's like having a very bad cold and has made doing anything Sun, Mon or Tues pretty much impossible.

Gonna give it a try again this year. Rather fizzled out on ALL crafty stuff last year! Ready to get going again....as soon as I dig out my craft table! Put me down for 5 per month. Thanks for the challenge!

Glad you're going to try again this year Carol. Sometimes our creative juices flow slower than others. Almost all of us have dry spells when we don't feel crafty.

I like your Scripture Quote and how you've woven your name into it.

Those are nasty, Val. I wonder if it's because everything has been so dry this winter.

Yes the dry weather and dry heat - and I haven't been good about using saline solution to keep my nose moist. I bought a cool mist humidifier yesterday which should also help. Getting the stuffing out late Tuesday afternoon went well, and everything seems fine now.

Val - glad the removal went well. My DH uses the saline daily..that's on top of having a whole house humidifier...he swears by it.

I'd love to participate. I'll be around until back surgery and then off and on for a little while. Still unpacking from a big move but I got absolutely 0 cards off in the mail last year and only handed out 4... I need some motivation and a reason to keep coloring while I'm laid up. I'd love to join if you'll have me.

For those of you who might be looking for some mojo to get your challenge cards started, I accidentally stumbled across the following blog on Pinterest (Always Playing with Paper) and she has a weekly Christmas Card sketch as part of her Merry Monday Challenge. It appears to be a very informal challenge without a lot of rules or requirements.

Always Playing with Paper: Merry Monday Challenge #1 Reminder and Mystery Guest Designer

If anyone knows of other blogs offering up Christmas card challenges, please post so we can all gain some new inspiration and ideas

I'm in! I signed up last year but didn't do a single one! This year I have a new craft space and an "older" toddler... so more crafting is in order! Sign me up for 5 a month! Thanks for hosting!

Renee', I hope we will be an encouragement and motivation for you to make cards this year. I pray the back surgery and recovery go well. It will be a great time to color lots of images to have on hand for making quick cards. I just love to color and often stamp a page-ful (4- of the same image to color for a set of cards. I usually use Copics or colored pencils with mineral spirits.
